This product was prescribed by my (homeopathic) Dr. after my full hysterectomy. My OBGYN said,”No, you don’t need this since you don’t have anything left.” So, I mention this to the first Dr. He says, “But, your BRAIN still needs the pregnenolone.”I’ve been using this product for over 5 years. I don’t have brain fog or ANY night sweats and I sleep 8 hours a night. I wouldn’t go without it!!!It’s been hard to find at times so I order 3 at a time now. Yes! The LAST of the last I hammer out because it’s expensive but worth every penny to me.

I read about this product and thought I would try it. So far no noticeable effect. Been using it for about two weeks.

This lotion works well as a moisturizer, but I am skeptical about the product as a hormone (precursor) replacement. Here's why. First, the lotion is quite sticky (no one else who has currently reviewed this product has mentioned this, so maybe I am more sensitive to stickiness than the average person). The dollop of lotion that is provided with each pump is quite large, although it only provides 15 mg of pregnenolone (with only some small percentage of that actually being absorbed) and is supposed to be spread over different sensitive skin areas every day. I am not a large person and I find that due to the stickiness of the product and the very slow time it takes to absorb into the skin, I can cover nearly all of my sensitive skin areas with a single dollop, leaving no where to alternate to the following day. I can still feel the stickiness of the product at the end of the day, even after it has been on for over 12 hours. I can also feel it washing off in the shower at the end of the day, leaving me to wonder how much of the pregnenolone has actually been absorbed. As a moisturizer, the lack of absorbency may be helpful in locking moisture into the skin, providing a barrier between the skin and drying air. But, since the lotion is not very readily absorbed into the skin, I question its effectiveness as a hormone (precursor) replacement.Prior to taking this product, I was taking pregnenolone as an alcohol tincture under the tongue. I found that the strong alcohol burned the sensitive tissues under my tongue and I wanted to give my mouth a chance to heal, so I switched to this product. I crashed shortly after switching and have since gone back to the tincture.If you have not been tested and do not have low cortisol and or dhea levels, you may find that this lotion provides enough pregnenelone for you, but for me it was not enough. I do not have enough sensitive skin areas nor does the lotion absorb well enough to supply me with the levels I need. Plus, I really hate sticky.

I love the silky feel of this cream, but that is not why I bought it. I have noticed some real improvement, though I'm not truly sure which product or if it's both together ( another of this company's creams), that is causing it. I will say my husband is happy and somehow I seem to remember a bit better. I will buy this again.

I have been using this product for about 6 months and am a repeat buyer. I initially bought it to reduce hot flashes - which it does a tremendous job of for me. I think it helps me sleep better at night and have more energy as well. The biggest benefit is that as I am losing weight, this product is helping shrink my flabby skin as I do. When I use it regularly, my skin looks much firmer and smooth. I am 49 and pre-menopausal. My skin looks great - no breakout issues. Someone at the health food store told me this hormone was for men. Whatever...it's working great for me. Do your homework, but I highly recommend. I follow the directions and rotate areas I apply to each day. I dread the days I'm supposed to go without it (5 days a month.) One bottle lasts me 30 days.

The pumping system is seriously flawed. Every time I've bought one of these it's been a PITA to get it started, and I'm a strong lifter built like Rambo, I've been lifting for 21 years since I was 15. I basically have usually had to slam the head down on the counter, then out shoots 15% of the product (as you will see 2 oz is like a quarter of the total size of the bottle, what a waste of plastic). Seriously, start putting this into 8 oz bottles that just have a pop open lid that can be unscrewed. This bottle design is an engineering fail and I've noted that since the very first use.Well, this time I was unable to power-force the cream (if you don't lift weights like me you better have a hammer handy)out and had to use my electricians scissors to cut the body open. Until I see this come in a different bottle I am never purchasing again. This bottle not pumping anything out was the last straw. Come on Life Flo, you put magnesium in the easy to use bottles that can be refilled, why the over-engineering for these? Does it seem easier to sell it for more when the plastic is more complicated AF?

I have noticed a difference in energy right away, but I did take dosage slowly and gradually. Once I reached a full pump each day, I noticed acne on my head, which I learned acne is a side affect. I tapered off a bit and it went away. I suggest all hormone replacement be monitored a month after because it can be tricky and backfire on us. This is an import hormone . many don’t even consider taking, but should. My naturopathic doc looked it over and said she agreed for me to take this, but nothing with paraben, which my other hormone cream did have, so she phoned me a combination cream of estrogen and progesterone to be filled at my compounding pharmacy. I've used this off and on for some time now. Unfortunately the last two bottles had something wrong with the pump. I thought the first was just a fluke but same with the second. I cut that open and it appears that a part is missing between the pump and the plate that moves up to push the cream out. Just a hole in the plate. Not buying again until this is resolved.

So I brought this product on a reccomendation. I have PCOS and been trying to manage my symptoms for the last 12 years and been trying to get pregnant for 5 years....Anyway, my first impressions were that it was very expensive and reading the previous reviews I was a bit sceptical. But as it was reccomended I went ahead and brought it.The.main review that put me off was the pump not working. When I got it, it was almost impossible to get any out but I found that taking the bottom off, I pushed the inner base up and the pump works perfectly.I have been using for 2 weeks now, I started using once a day, I had a bad reaction with my stomach but I don't know if it was linked. But after a few days that stopped, since then I feel like I have slept better, my moods are 1000 x better and my energy levels. I am Still waiting for a period but I have been spotting.. For the 2nd week I have been using it twice a day and think I need to be using it a bit longer before I see its really affects.

Read nearly all the reviews before buying,true about being overpriced, it is half price in America, bottle is too big, have no problem with the pump at the moment,been using for 3 days,bought it for girlfriend. Cream is a game changer, reviews are true, her brain fog was gone after the first use,mood is better. Amazing cream, will see how she gets on with it, price is really too much, coz of that not sure that we will purchase from Amazon on n the future. Apart from all this product is really great. She has used progesterone creams before,didn’t do no difference.

Recieved it today and the pump didn't work. Tip for all take the bottom off and push it up then it will come out.I hope the product works we shall see. It does feel nice and absorbs well into skin.Packaging needs a redesigned. Especially as you only get a small amount of product. Even like a jar with a spatula or something.

First time ever that the pump action did not work for me. Which is a shame because this is such a brilliant product that supports my health issues.Was easy enough to slice open the plastic container with a sharp Kitchen knife and decant into a glass jar.Shouldn’t have to do this with a product though!

My review will only confirm, what many other reviews say. The pump is faulty, does not work, nothing comes out of the tube, therefore it is not possible to use the product. Writing a review how effective or not the product is is pointless in this case, since it's not possible to extract the product in the first place. My patience lasted for about a week, of shaking, pressing, trying all sorts of things to get the product out. Sometimes came out in large quantity or slashed all over the bathroom, but most of the times, simple pump press did not work, therefore I had to throw it away. Waste of money.
