Una Mattina

Seller uses DHL for shipping - and I don't like DHL and would not order from them again if DHL is used. They are slow and tracking info is imprecise. They use the Post Office for delivery and don't deliver to door.

Excellent condition, beautiful music.

A teenage student recommended this music for me. I'm so happy that I took his suggestion, as it turns out to be lovely music. I always play it when I have guests, and they always remark on how nice it is. It provides the perfect background music for a social gathering, allowing for easy conversation. I'm not a music expert, so I won't try to go into the nuances of what makes it good music. I just know that it is.

I would have given this CD a five-star rating if the version of "Una Mattina" featured on this album had been the same version of the song I initially discovered online. The online version of this album was posted by the artist, himself, Ludovico Einaudi. I suppose he changed and lengthened "Una Mattina" long after he initially made the recording found on this CD. Normally, when an artist provides his or her music online for free, I usually try to support the artist by purchasing a CD of his or her music. The online version of "Una Mattina" always brings tears to my eyes whenever I listen to it (which is just about every day), but the version of "Una Mattina" on this CD (half the length of the online version) doesn't have the same emotional impact upon me. What this means is that, even though I now own a CD of this album, I won’t be listening to it, because the online version of this album is better simply because it contains the newer, longer version of “Una Mattina."

This is my absolute favorite CD. I like to turn it on while doing my artwork. It is soft, nostalgic, romantic, relaxing, and it makes me feel as if I am living in my own perfect movie. My husband even loves it! Some of the songs are piano with a little bit of violin - which I adore. You won't regret purchasing this one. I have another of Einaudi's CDs on the way! Can't wait!

I am extremely picky when it comes to piano music. I am a massage therapist and I will play a cd enough times to be able to tell if it can stand up to the test of overplaying it. Most don't. This one is utterly different. It is still my favorite and I have had it for a few years now. (Granted, I don't play it every day!) It is touching, elegant and relaxing. The quality of emotion on this cd is astounding. I highly recommend it.

A phenomenal album from a modern composer. This disc truly is a must-have if you like relaxing piano music.
