What is the difference between “black” and “black drop needle”?

I’m pretty sure the black is solid and the black drop needle are pin striped.

Inseam is 6". Great underwear!!

When everyone says to order a size up, is that based off the sizing chart? i.e. the chart says i should buy a large, do i buy large or xl?

I wear 38 and bought L. They fit fine. My concern buying a size larger is then they could be too loose and you have to be pulling them up. 77% say they fit as expected, I being one!

How do these compare to Calvin Klein modal boxer briefs?

Very similar fabric, but the waistband is thinner than the CK. the cut is a trunk, not boxer brief, meaning they don't really go down the leg more than an inch.
