Aluminum Ash Shovel & Charcoal Scoop - Perfect Grilling Tool & Barbecue Accessory

CAUTION: The picture does not match the delivered product! This scoop is not what I was hoping for when I ordered. The handle is particularly small and the proportions don't match those presented in the picture. I don't know if they may have switched manufacturers or cut some corners. The grip is barely large enough only to support a couple of fingers and its attachment to scoop is only half connected. Third, the description claims it is a one piece scoop, but because the quality of manufacturing is poor, grinds on the handle weld are easy to see. Finally, I think the design could benefit from a small flat section towards the end of the scoop. This would facilitate ash clean out. Overall, I wanted a solid metal scoop that could be useful for handling warm ashes. With the handle compromises on this version and the obvious differences from the advertised product, this is a classic bait and switch. Consumer beware!

It is a gift but I like the way it is shaped and the quality of the material.

.I needed a scoop for my wood pellets. We were using a plastic cool whip container. This scoop is much nicer. :)

Just love it, handles easily and does it's job

Very small, not useful for gathering ash, not good for scooping up charcoal. If I had a retail store it could be used to scoop up candy or grain products.
