Stability
My last gps mount was broken and after hiting every single bump on the highway it was leaning to a side. Now it stays perfectly at the place and never leans since I bought it.

Save a ton of money
My holder had broken and I was considering buying a new GPS. I'm glad to have found this simple solution. Good product. Edit: second one that I have had to purchase. Maybe the plastic is more fragile than it should be but it cracks and doesn't hold.
