Why did you pick this product vs others?: This thing is fantastic! As others have said, I bought this for easy travel, and it does work on hotel dryers. However, it also works WAY better than my plastic spikey diffuser, better curls, less pokes in the head, less space in the drawer. Have used it every day for over a year and it’s in perfect shape. And it’s not even expensive!

Easily adjusts to fit most hair dryers, works well.

I first bought it as a replacement for a travel diffuser as those take too much space in the suitcases, especially when you are trying to travel with just a carry on. Most hotels have a hair dryer but not diffuser attachments so I decided to see if I could use this to dry my curly wavy hair when I travel. As with most things, there is a bit of a learning curve involved if you are used to a bowl diffuser attachment. However, once you figure that out, it’s an amazing tool. Pros: 1. Travels light, easy to pack, saves space. 2. Fits on most hotel hair dryers. 3. Doesn’t slip or fall off. 4. Doesn’t get too hot to the touch. 5. Dries hair quickly and without any damage. Cons: 1. Won’t give tight curls. Curls are looser and wavier than what you get with a bowl diffuser attachment. I have found that the best way to use it is for me to tip my head upside down and just hover diffuse with this attachment on medium heat and medium speed. That gives me the best results without staticky or frizzy hair (ordinarily I can get away with low to medium heat and high speed when using a bowl disuser attachment, but with this sock high speed blows the hair a bit too much for my liking). Try not to let this touch your hair when you are drying as it will break up the curls and make them more frizzy. Just hover close and dry. Easy peasy.

While it would be great for travel with the small size not taking up much space in luggage, the air flow was not what I wanted. It took me twice as long to dry my hair than with a more traditional diffuser. I also didn’t get as much volume as from other diffusers.

Second one I purchased for travel. Works well as diffuser and saves on packing space.

I bought this to take on a trip to Italy so I would have a diffuser on the hotel hair dryer. It would not stay on, it would blow off. I tried a rubber band, holding it on with my hand. It just doesn’t diffuse very well at all.

I really like this product. It's a bit of a rip-off price for what is basically a piece of foam fabric but it cuts down the frizz on my curly hair to virtually nil. BUT you have to watch how you use it as your hair can stick to the foam so I find the trick is to gently place it in the hair, keep it perfectly still whilst drying that bit, then gently remove and repeat in another section. I can see how people could end up with a frizzy mess if they 'waggle' the sock around in their hair in order to speed up drying time as the hair would stick to the foam. I've used it on two different hairdryers so far and it's fitted okay - one was a wide nozzle and the other a narrow nozzle. If you needed to fit it to a very narrow nozzle I would just secure it with a band. Good for travelling as not bulky like a conventional diffuser

I love this simple way to dry my curly hair quickly. Wonderful. Just lean to left, right or forward And hold dryer gently near hair. Great for travel! Love it!!! My hair is mid length to short.

Nada, absolutamente nada ...eso fue lo q obtuve de ese mal llamado difusor!! Además me costó tiempo y dinero se considero el tiempo que espere pacientemente que llegara y después los trámites de devolución.
