Are these cotton or wool?

To order the cotton, type in "SoxsolS cotton." For some reason the cotton kind don't come up in the search results if you just type in "SoxsolS." Wool makes me itch, but I LOVE the cotton SoxsolS, which are definitely available on Amazon. I just ordered more!

Are the wool ones thicker than the cotton ones?

They are similar to synthetic ones. They have sticky residue on bottom.
