Unfortunately many of the solutions are very old and mostly written is SQL-89 or SQL-92 and referencing flavours of SQL where at the time joins such as full outer or analytical functions hadn’t been implemented. A useful starter for people wanting to learn about approaches to solving problems but much of the code could be rewritten using modern constructs.
