We decided to finally go from a Queen to a King size bed and had a beauty all picked out... but the expense of getting a mattress and a bed is astronomical! We saw this platform bed and thought we could spend on the mattress and use this for a while to save for the bed we picked. Honestly, we like this bed so much, we may just keep it forever! I LOVE THIS BED - let me count the ways: 1. Minimalist Design - you can dress this bed up or down into any style you choose. Feeling Farmhouse? Add a lace duvet cover and a wooden headboard (this bed doesn't attach to a headboard, but you can mount one right to a wall.) Feeling Danish Modern? Find a cute Nordic printed duvet set and a statement modern art piece. I won't list more, but this bed will fit any style! 2. Fast Shipping. OK, I live in a metropolitan area so this might not be the norm, but I ordered the bed at 1 pm Pacific time expecting Prime 2 Day Shipping. I received the bed at 8 AM - the day after I placed the order!!! 3. Solid Construction. This bed doesn't move or squeak or wiggle. 4. Easy Building. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. They included a ratchet tool to loosen and tighten the screws. It took me alone about 35 minutes to put the whole thing together. My husband came up to help and I was already done! 5. Love. I just adore the positive messages and love this company sent with the package. You'll see when you order. I am ordering more of these beds for every bedroom in our house!

Wow, this bed frame is amazing... I did a lot of research behind bedframes for my newly purchases purple mattress and considering the mattress was quite expensive, I wanted a bedframe that would be adequate for it, but not break the bank. After researching I found Zinus was a popular brand, but after reading comments on a ton of their products(literally read comments/researched products for hours), I found contradictory reviews. Either it was the most amazing, or the worst product ever. My take on this bedframe is it is an amazing bedframe! Pros: Affordable(I got it for around $200) Very Sturdy(I am 245 lbs) Really easy to assemble(took me and 1 other about 30 minutes.) No squeaking/sliding WOOD! Cons: The only cons I could even think of was: Very low to the ground(this could be a con for you) Not extravagant looking, but look simple and clean. This is the second of these that my family has had. One twin and one full size. My mom first didn't like it, and ended up giving it to my daughter, the full size one, which I then sanded and painted making it more colorful for my daughter's room. Other than removing the velcro which holds the planks down very well, I had no problem sanding and painting it. So if that's something you're interested in, make sure you have a good staple remover and electric stapler. And manual one might do the job but would take more Force than I can push down. After my mom gave my daughter the full one she found it was the mattress she hated and not the bed itself, so I bought her a twin size that she wanted instead. She's extremely happy with it now. It's very easy to put together, takes about 45 minutes but that's only because I take my time. It's very nice because it comes with the washers and even a little allen wrench tool that ratchets I kept that little piece of tools for my own use in other things. While I found it easy to put together the twin set, my cousin had originally put together the full size and when I took it apart, it only confirmed what an idiot he is. There's a little difficulty in making sure that you put it together in the right order because once the sides are on, you're not going to be able to screw the Allen bolts into the feet since the area where the slots go will be in the way. So make sure you put those on first. I found the quality to be exceptional. Since I sanded the first one to get the original stain off I got a good understanding of not only how it was made how what it was made of it's lightweight but entirely made of wood. Which is impressive for the price point. They really are beautiful beds. The 2x2 rubber stoppers so that the bed doesn't slide around on the floor if you have anything but carpet.

This bed frame exceeded my expectations. The wood looks nice and feels solid, and once assembled it doesn’t wobble or make noise. The instructions were clear and all parts were included, which made the setup much easier than I thought. What I liked: – Strong and stable construction – Simple and modern design – No squeaking or movement – Good height with space for storage underneath Overall, it’s a great value for the price and provides good support for the mattress. I would recommend it for anyone looking for a reliable and clean-looking bed frame.

Waited for several weeks to do this review as we wanted to see how "things went" for a while with assembly and use of this bed frame. To be brief, it is a solid, quiet and nice looking wooden bed frame. First to note, is the use of finger jointed wood. Makes good use of wood scraps however, one has to hope the process used in joining/gluing the wood pieces together is up to par longevity-wise. That said, the fit appeared to be acceptable. The finish of the wood however, is not the highest quality. On the two side boards, each (outside surface) had a "divot" where it appeared that a belt sander or something dug into a couple places. Generally speaking the bedding will cover these flaws, but QC from the manufacturer needs to be better as I wasn't expecting this. The wood stain used is a nice & universal dark wood color so it should blend well with your other dark wood bedroom furniture. Secondly, the mechanical assembly was well thought out in the overall design of this bed frame. The only minor issue we had was with the metal support brace where one of the three metal legs was drilled & tapped for a larger bolt...why that was will be a forever unanswered mystery. Again, QC needs to be better. So, I had to make a quick trip to the hardware store for a replacement (metric). Assembly is intuitively easy...you really don't need instructions. I did cut some leftover carpet remnants for use as pads & placed these under each of the feet to help protect the floor. The supplied support slats, which have velcro attached, were evenly spaced and should be sufficient with support for any mattress and not affect mattress warranties (if that is a concern). Clearance is around 7 inches, so storing anything under the bed will be limited in height. Depending on your mattress thickness and use of/or not using a box spring may result in sitting a little low...so keep that in mind. You can always buy various sizes of risers/platforms/bunky boards to get to the height you desire. Thirdly, the packing/shipping carton is amazingly brilliant in how the manufacturer did this to protect the product inside....kudos to them. Lastly, this is a solid bed frame delivered in a box. Not the finest in finish quality but overall, it is surprisingly adequate whether you have low, mid or high class standards. We purchased this to use as an interim bedframe while we continue to look for a complete matching bedroom furniture set. We may just skip looking for another (furniture matching) frame as this one is performing well enough. I knocked off one star in the review because of the two QC issues mentioned....your mileage may vary. Thanks. ***EDIT: Do note there are different variations of bed frames being offered. Some have smaller sized side rails/boards that appear to have resulted in issues for some folks. As noted in the ad for the Deluxe version we purchased......"Deluxe bed frames are compatible with people who need greater weight support as it has thicker (5.75 inch frame) side rails on the side."

I've been using this frame for a few days now. It is an excellent value bed frame. After reading some reviews, I was a bit hesitant to buy this frame but went ahead and did anyway. My wife and I went from a flimsy bed frame with a boxspring that moved around a lot whenever one of us adjusted and so we wanted something that would stay sturdy so as not to disturb the other person as much. This is an excellent investment bed frame. It comes very well packaged and protected. The instructions are clear and easy to understand. I was able to put this together by myself in about 40 minutes (including tear down of old bed frame). The frame itself is extremely sturdy and doesn't move one inch while getting in or out of bed. The slats come with the non-slip strips on them but, honestly, we don't even need them. Our mattress stays still. The frame looks great with our other furniture and has a lot of room underneath that we could store other things (we haven't yet, but plan to). The big bonus is that we realized that our boxspring was failing because of how the mattress was sagging in the middle. This frame has reinforced our mattress so well that we no longer have that problem. All in all, extremely happy with the purchase.

Simple assembly. I was able to have it together in a little less than an hour by myself. Having a second set of hands would have been useful, but not strictly necessary. They provide a VERY useful hex wrench on a ratchet, which makes assembly so much simpler. Also provided is spares of all the hardware, which will likely be useful in a few years when the existing hardware starts to wear down after adjustments & tightening. After about a week of use, the frame feels very sturdy and looks great. No noise when getting on or off the bed. Support is even throughout the bed. I was concerned about the mattress sliding around because my previous wooden frame had a raised border which ensured the bed was contained. But no sliding so far thankfully. I wish there was a little more clearance in terms of storing things under the bed. I have to lift the bed in order to slide things in and out, but once it's under there is plenty of room for storage.

From the packaging to assembly, the may have been one of my best Amazon purchases ever. First, it was packaged in a box within a box. This meant nothing was f’dakared in transit. Second there was marginal amounts of styrofoam inside the box: just enough to protect the bed frame. Additionally, all styrofoam was protected in plastic so none of it got all over my house! This bed took me maybe 30 minutes to put together completely alone, was missing no pieces & had a string tied around the accessory/ fasteners parts so even if things went awry with the box they were tethered to it and would not fall out. Also: came with an Allen wrench & incredible little ratchet tool. Made it so much faster & easier. The bed is a great value! For the price it blows my mind. Nothing was off balance or damaged. Quite beautiful! I was really shocked at how great of purchase this was both co sundering quality, comfort & price! So very sturdy. Also the Velcro fir the slats & the Non-slip stickers for the mattress on top of the slats lean the bed is still & sturdy. The mattress does not slip off at all. This was for my child’s room & it has not disappointed. Excellent to throw any kind of mattress on: traditional or memory foam/latex. Slept so very well! The low profile & design means no one is bumping into corners it stubbing toes. The directions were very clear & easy & each piece was labeled clearly. I honestly cannot believe how great this platform bed is. We paid $2k for a nice one from a reputable furniture company & I would say this one -while using cheaper lighter materials-holds up to our well-designed nice one!

I'll preface this by saying that I have no trouble with Ikea assembly instructions, and have only rarely run into an assembly manual that I did not understand. If you are the type that is confused by super simple instructions (like Ikea), I really don't think that it's the instructions that are causing your difficulties, and you should probably just spend the money on pre-assembled furniture. That being said: - I found the instructions extremely simple to follow - All of the branded materials inside were nice quality and well designed - All of the holes lined up the way they should, and there were no missing pieces - I easily assembled the frame by myself - All the materials were very high quality - I trust the durability of this frame - The price was an excellent value, especially when considering I didn't pay for the 2 day Prime shipping - The box was WAY heavier that I expected based on the size... I'm 25 and I'm saying watch your back on this one folks We're 9 months into using it, and it's stayed sturdy, and wobble and squeak-free. I've recommended this frame to multiple friends and family members for the quality and value, and would absolutely buy it again. Based on my experience with this, my other Zinus bed frame, and my two Zinus mattresses, I'd say this company has cornered the market on quality, affordable bedroom furniture.

I ordered this bed a second time for our spare room, and the packaging was in good condition, bed frame is double wrapped in cardboard for those "bad delivery drivers" and its kept undamaged. Easy for me to install, and looks clean and sturdy. So far our queen size no issues after a year nothing broken or falling apart. We attached it to a headboard with drilling some holes through the legs and long bolts. Holds up just great! Thats because its solid wood, not some garbage glued particle board from, must I say it, Ikea stores and the like. Thanks amazon and Zinus.

This bed is nice and solid. No squeak sound, neither. Assemble was easy, too. My mattress fits on top of the bed. The Velcro holds the mattress good! Happy to purchase this bed.

We downsized into a smaller home and when we moved we purchased new beds for all of the rooms. I didn't want to deal with heavy boxsprings any more and decided to go with platform beds. We bought the first frame for a queen bed that we have in the guest room. It is so sturdy and strong and gives off mid century modern vibes. I then bought the same frame in king and in again for our second queen bed. This was easy to assemble with one person. It looks great with a floating headboard and takes up less space than a traditional bed frame.

We bought this bed about 1 month ago and we are very happy with it. Easy assembly with very high-quality and sturdy components. It is noiseless, and we have no problems with it. For those who are skeptical about buying online, we recommend this bed because it is really high quality.
