Women's Hurricane Drift

What can I say? I was originally skeptical when my GF said try these. I ordered the first pair in white (not shown), and tried it for a week. My first impressions: This is the first set of Teva's I've ever owned that I'm not embarrassed to wear all over the place. They don't look like sports, hiking, or adventure sandals like the rest of their product line looks like. Meaning "hippie" hiking, biking, kayaking, running type of sport sandals. They can dress up or down. I've worn them to the beach, and even worn them (the black one) with a dress at a dinner event, and I got nothing but compliments, and shock from the ladies when I told them they're TEVAS. The different hues are very pleasant and stylish. Any of the colors can go with almost any color outfit. They fit and feel so nice. The material is almost like a "crocs" type of material. There's no fabric or webbing like normal Teva sandals, there's no synthetic or leather footbed, so (thankfully) these don't seem to withhold that "stink feet" (EEW) smell. Easy to wash, easy to clean. Just hose them off if used at the beach, or gently scrub them with a sponge or gentle nylon toothbrush if used in the dirt. The front strap is not adjustable; the top (ankle) strap is velcro and is adjustable to a certain extent. I keep the strap snug, not tight. It helps NOT to have that ankle strap too loose, that will lead to chaffing believe it or not, rather than keeping it loose. But not too tight! Or your foot will lose circulation which is WORSE. I get a lot of compliments, for those of you who like attention that you get from wearing NICE shoes, sandals, slippers. Since I live in Hawaii we have a mostly flip flop, sandal type of culture, and these are ABSOLUTELY PERFECT for that purpose. The black and white ones are the most versatile: I've worn the black one with a dress to dinner and another time to a business function. The white one I've worn to a friend's wedding. I was the most comfortable lady there, I guarantee it! It's normally hard to find nice white sandals to wear to moderate to classy events, and the white ones, well cared for and clean, fit the bill. I didn't think to take pictures of me wearing the white ones, sorry! LOL!!! I can't speak highly enough of these. So far I have one each of the white, black, lake green, and mango sandals. I love these. The fit? Well they're about 1/4" too long, but that's minor. You don't really want to size them too close from heel to toe anyway, otherwise if you use them for hiking or walking, you'll stub your toes all the time. Also, the front strap, sized oh so lightly too large (1/2 size up), sits right on the top of where what you'd call the toe first "knuckles" lie, and feels the best, for me anyway. The toes are allowed to bend and flex, you can still wiggle them and lift your toes for flexibility and comfort. Good for dirt, sand, water, mud, and (cleaned off carefully) even a night out on the town if you wanna make a fashion statement? Wear a white dress with mango sandals? Yes! You can do it with this one if you want to. Wear mango (orange) designer glasses and you'll set a fashion statement!!!

I got these for a Caribbean cruise, and they were really cute and worked great for the trip. More importantly, these were a life saver during my pregnancy. They were so soft and comfortable, and the adjustable straps made it easy to adjust for my swelling ankles and feet. My third trimester was all in the hot summer, and these shoes were so comfy and pretty much the only shoes I wore. The only almost cons to note are: I felt like they were going to slip off in the water when I was walking back to shore a couple times, so they don’t feel fully water adventure friendly. I also got the cream color, and it’s hard to keep clean. I definitely recommend these shoes, especially to pregnant women who have spring or summer pregnancies and want comfy, supportive sandals.

I bought these for my birthday trip to Niagara Falls. We did the boat ride that goes right up to the falls. You get really wet lol. They were perfect and sturdy. Dried quickly once out of water and good for walking around the Clifton Hill area. I’m usually between 8 and 9. Bought the 9. Thought they looked a little big as I had room in the front and back but that didn’t affect comfort, support or stability.

I love these sandals BUT can’t really use them for what I purchased them for. They’re marketed as lightweight and floatable, the first of which I agree with. They are SUPER comfortable and light, with good traction. They’re also pretty easy to clean when they get dirty. Pretty accurate sizing: I’m usually a W9.5, and got a a 9 and am happy with the size. Would recommend sizing down for anyone between sizing. My only beef with these sandals is how slippery they get the moment your foot is wet. I got them for some light hiking and to wear for river floats as a cuter water shoe alternative. This is impossible for two reasons: 1) The lack of adjustability around the toe and 2) the slickness of the actual shoe bed. The lack of adjustability around the top strap is a huge bummer because I feel like it’s a bit loose around the top of my foot. Also, because the bed of the sandal doesn’t have any texture to help your foot grip the shoe, as soon as your foot gets wet, it slides out of the entire sandal. I was slipping and sliding the entire river float. Needless to say, I will not be wearing around water ever again. Would also warn people with sweaty feet to avoid these. All in all, I’m keeping because they are very comfortable, lightweight, and easy to clean. A great summer sandal. But I would warn people expecting to wear them in the water that these cannot replace other hardier, more textured Tevas or Chacos better suited for the job.

These are my second pair of these sandals, and wow, they're still amazing. Seriously, they are so incredibly comfortable. I've ended up wearing them practically every single day. They've become my go-to for everything. Definitely a great purchase!

I am glad I read the reviews and listened to them. I wear an 8W/EU39 and ordered these in a size 7, which was a good call, these fit me well. I would say they run a full size larger than the similarly styled Hurricane Xlt2, which I ordered in a size 8, fit me perfectly, and have about the same size footbed as the Drifts in a 7. The Drift's footbed might even be a tiny bit larger despite being a size smaller. So, while I did order a size that fit me, I rated the fit as "too large" because I am certain these would have been much too large for me in my usual size. I bought these because I was in the market for an active style sandal and these were on sale for a very good price. I realized that these are the same material Crocs are made of, and I figured these would let me try out what a Croc might be like without actually having to order a pair of Crocs. I also hoped they might be great sandals for the beach and campground showers. They are cute, lightweight, and very comfy. The front strap is not too tight for my feet. The ankle strap doesn't quite sit flat on my foot, but it's not a dealbreaker, and the fact that there is only one slightly adjustable velcro strap on these means they're quick to get on and off compared to other Teva styles. I wore them on a day trip to the Oregon Coast, where I got to test them out at several beaches. These are great for going in the water, but the straps trapped a lot of sand against my feet which made me feel like I was wearing sandals made of sandpaper until I could get rinsed off -- that was very uncomfortable and pretty disappointing. They also didn't feel the most secure on uneven and rocky terrain; the looseness of the front strap meant my foot would slide around in the sandal. I probably won't be wearing them to the beach again, at least not in the Pacific Northwest where the beaches are either very fine sand or full of rocks. I'm also concerned about the visible wear on the ball of the treads after just one day; these are definitely on the more casual end of the active sandal spectrum and not nearly as sturdy as the Hurricane Xlt2s. The weight and material do make them great for walking around, I can't imagine my feet getting tired in these, and I don't think they're going to give me blisters. I still think they'll make a good campground sandal, great for that first morning trip to the restrooms when you're still in your PJs, and to wear in the showers. I wouldn't buy a pair at full price but for what I paid for them, I am happy to have them.

I purchased these for hiking in Hawaii across rivers. I needed some sandals that would be easy to take on and off and would also be lightweight for backpacking. These were all of that. They fit true to size and or not only durable enough for river crossing but flexible and lightweight for packing. The adjustable straps were very firm and I never had any problems with them opening up. They had an arch support that added stability and comfort.

I didn’t see this Tova style in any of our local stores, and have been desperate to replace a badly worn out pair of waterproof/river sandals with a durable, good looking, waterproof sandal that fits my feet. Just got these tonight. These aren’t it! For starters, these sandals must be in Unisex sizes (which I did not see described on the website). I ordered 10 (my normal size is 10W) - and they swam on me. I’d normally take about a men’s 9. But it’s the footbed that’s the problem. It felt like there was barely any cushioning. This footbed is not like other Tevas I have owned or tried. It’s more like thin, molded vinyl. This isn’t the kind of footbed that molds to your foot over time, either (or st least, not like the older Teva ones that do). My feet definitely need more cushioning and support than this. There’s a minor ‘arch’ of sorts - but not what I would classify ‘arch support.’ I need that too. Additionally, these brand new Tevas have a very strong chemical smell. Another pair of Tevas I tried recently were like that, too, but I chalked that up to the mangled box and evidence of water damage to the box (delivered on a plastic bag like that by Amazon!). It might be the material that Teva uses now. Definitely not a fan. Returning - in two plastic bags, because of the smell. :( These we’re not delivered in a Teva box, just a sealed bag - which may not have allowed them to ‘air out’ after manufacture.

Comodissime, pratiche perché lavabili tutte le volte che si vuole e in un attimo sono asciutte. Ad un prezzo leggermente inferiore, ne avrei sicuramente preso un altro paio dal colore più vivace. Non escludo che lo farò 😉

Super light and beautiful colour! Easy to wear with the opening being at the top. Doesn't feel light anything on the feet, and comfy too, no breakin required. No blistering, my feet are very sensitive so this is great. Can walk a lot in these shoes with some grip at the bottom. Waterproof and floats. Good quality material. I am usually between a EU 38 or UK size 5-6 depending on fit. The size 5 was too small with toes sticking out, size 6 was better.

These shoes are super light weight and comfortable. Definitely good for water shoes or walking. However if you have narrow feet, I wouldn’t recommend as the shoes aren’t adjustable (at the straps to fit all sizes - like the OG tevas) due to the design. Good for normal / wider feet.
