Easy install & works as described.

I bought the 4 gauge wire to make new battery cables for my motorcycles and am very happy with this wire. First off, it is very flexible, allowing me to make sharp bends easily. Second, the included lugs and heat shrink fit perfectly. The only problem I ran into was my hydraulic crimping tool didn't have the correct size die, so I had to use one slightly smaller than I would have liked and caused some sharp edges in the crimp. I just filed down any ridges because I was sure it would have ended up rubbing through the heat shrink. To avoid this problem, buy a better crimper than I did that has correct awg dies or don't do an Incredible Hulk impersonation on it. I ended up making new positive and ground wires for my riding mower, 4 wheeler and plan on making several more for other street bikes. These made a huge difference over the old corroded cables they replaced. When it comes time to make more battery cables, I will definitely use this brand again. Couldn't beat the quality and price. To sum it all up: It's great cable at a great price and you should buy it.

Used this wire/lug kit to make some various length cables to add a second battery to my pontoon boat along with a master switch and an automatic charging relay. The tin plated copper lugs are good quality and fit the 3/8" studs on my equipment very snugly. Fit the 5/16" studs loosely so I used stainless washers. The wire has extra fine copper stranding and is nice and flexible. The wire insulation is soft and not highly abrasion resistant, so be mindful on wire routing and proper securing. I highly recommend NOT using the included heat shrink for any outdoor/mobile application, and instead use a good quality adhesive lined heat shrink to help seal the connections. Also highly recommend using a hex die crimper (hydraulic or bolt cutter style).

Used to install an inverter into my rv. A nice kit with all the materials needed to do a quality, nice looking installation.

Great flexible cable with great end fittings. Crimps in place well but I elected to melt some solder into the tips for a super reliable connection. Works very well at high amperage.

This is the second set I have ordered and couldn't be happier with the performance and quality.

Measured the correct thickness wire. The outer coating doesn’t want to melt or burn, which is awesome. I’m using this as a way to connect some larger batteries to a monster UPS, so soldered the connectors on as I didn’t want to buy a crimping tool I’d use once. No issues soldering so long as I used electrical flux prior to applying solder. The wires are flexible and, well, awesome.
