I almost didn’t buy this product due to some negative reviews. But, whatever… give it a try. It is now a permanent fixture in my kitchen and used frequently. That said, I’m definitely picky. Take that for what you want. Best uses include in Ranch dressing for onion strings and cocktail sauce for shrimp/seafood. Stays good in the fridge for an extended period of time.

How many times have you bought a little jar of horseradish, used a couple of spoonfuls, then threw it in the garbage months later the code date expires. Tastes like the fresh stuff. Edit yourself first few times you use it. It’s easy to add more in but very difficult to remove, just like salt.

Not sure what powdered horse radish is supposed to taste like, but I can say this: to me, it doesn't taste like horse radish.

I tried making my own but this is more bitter than hot. I am a bit disappointed. I guess I will stick to fresh horseradish to make my hot horseradish sauce. I will try to add a bit of this to use it up.

Great substitute in dips and recipes when fresh isn’t available

I have a shrimp cocktail several times a week before dinner. I used to make my own sauce with catsup and horseradish. Horseradish in the jar goes bad once opened, even when refrigerated. This powdered form makes it very simple. I buy the store brand cocktail sauce and add this, I like it strong. Add little by little to find what is best for you. This will last me for quite a while, and I will buy it again when I run out.

it seems okay but I wonder if it was grinded too finely because every time I try to use it, dust from it takes to the air.

Love this product. When I buy the regular jars at the grocery store, I inevitably find it moldy. This product is so easy to use & tastes wonderful. Scoop out what you need, and it goes back in the cabinet.
