Great little flashlight for many uses
This flashlight is just like my Army issue one from 2003. It’s durable and high quality. It uses a normal bulb but there are lots if you want to switch it to an LED system. It provides enough light to easily see your tag and has a clip to attach to you or your gear. I like to use it when I’m hiking and am still on the trail after sunset. The included filters let you change the light color for whatever reason. The red filter is great for night use when you don’t want to draw attention or lessen your night vision.

Work great, as described
I ordered 4 of these in coyote as I already had some in coyote and needed a few more as we are building kits for extended family and couldn't use green. Only OD Green on our kits is medical items. Arrived quickly and as described. My only complaint about these angle head flashlights is the historically weak bulb. Bought some LED bulbs that fit perfectly and brightened up the light. Would highly recommend to others.

A complete vibe.
Great item for LARP or just collecting, to be honest i do find it outdated since pretty much every edc flashlight outshines this one, its heavy and bulky. That aside i do think its a great flashlight, batteries last quite a while, bigth be hard to use for someone with meaty fingers like me since the switch is kinfd of on the small side.

Great NATO knock off flashlight
This is a great old school flashlight that you can count on surviving the majority of situation she’ll throw it out. Being that it doesn’t really have any electronics in it like modern tactical flashlights it has a very good likelihood of surviving the majority of EMP situations even if it’s not inside of a Faraday bag. It has several different colored lenses that can be swapped out. I leave the Redlands in for night vision work. You can unscrew the lightbulb portion of the flashlight and use the contacts underneath it to start a fire with steel wool or a piece of lead. Which is quite handy there’s plenty of extra space for storing any type of tinder you might like to keep in the flashlight, as well as spare bulbs or other small items. You can certainly send Maurice code with this pretty well on this momentary setting. Or a flick the switch all the way up for permanently on. The switch is very protected against accidental turn on’s. Overall this is really a great flashlight. I’ve had several of these flashlights over my life. My first flashlight I got when I was about eight years old in 1964 entering Cub Scouts. Of course the Cub Scout version wasn’t near as sophisticated as the NATO knock off version that this flashlight is.

Very nice civilian copy of military flashlight
No this is not to US Mil-spec dimensions, I found that out after I got mine. HOWEVER!!! I have been using it since February 2024 (it's now June 2024) and have had no issues with it. The switch was stiff at first but that loosened up after some use. It has the 3-position switch like the military ones, on - signal/flash - off. I would recommend this flashlight for home / camping / hunting / etc. It does need to have a bulb change to an LED bulb since it does come with a very dull incandescent bulb. I used a 74 Lum bulb from Nite-Ize.

Doesn't work, at all.
1 star for looks I guess. I've had 5 of these over my life span. This one does NOT WORK. PERIOD. So not impressed. Needed it last night and went to put the batteries in, and red light lens for some night navigation. Turned it on before leaving the house thank goodness. There are no instructions for those wondering. Just a box FROM CHINA. It's the newer model. Plastic casing. These have been used since WWl. No problems. SO what gives with this. I don't have time to return it and wait for another., I'll just go to the local gun and military supply shop I guess. I can't get out much, except at night. I'm done with Amazon. A good portion of thier stuff comes from China, and if you've kept up online with what's going on over there. You'd understand why they prouce items for pennies on the dollar. It's problic toxic anyway. I'm trashing it. Nothing works on it. Not new batteries, high priced batteries, bulbs etc...I've spent more trying to get it to workm than I paid for it on Anazon. VTW..for those who don't know....it's supposed to be rather dim light. You don't want the enemy to see your position. Thus the angle and diff. color lenses. I've seen complaints elsewhere, prob here as well. I didn't look. About how bad flashlight it is. It isn't bright at all etc....ya, it's supposed to be that way. If you got one that actually works. They should put that in the description. It's a MILITARY GI FLASHLIGHT for reading maps and instructructions, lookint at your chow etc....not to light up the forest for incoming fire!!

Cheap Chinese knock-off
I bought this flash light some time ago as a backup to my 2 original Fulton MX-991/U Army-issued flashlights. I didn't realize it at the time but upon receiving the box, noticed that it had the words "Made in China" stamped upon it. The flashlight also did not have the standard US markings molded on the body. While the flashlight works, the quality is not the same as the US made Fulton. Noticeably, the plastic feels thinner and lighter. The clip is also screwed into the body rather than riveted on like the originals. This flashlight is worth the money if you need something cheap that works but be advised that this is NOT a substitute for the original. I doubt it'll last the 20 years that my first Fulton did. On a side note, the reflector in this Chinese clone is better than the original in that the light beam is more focused.

Retro Memories!
Carried these for years in the Army! Now they are much lighter with rechargeable lithium D batteries and a LED bulb. Still work the same however! Just lighter with longer battery life!

Suitable for a non-content shape
Just a beautiful shape that is not suitable for fragile use, it is clearly a commercial industry.

Perfect for camping.
Awesome lights. Used them a lot when I was younger. If you’re looking for a super bright light. This isn’t what you want. It doesn’t compare to an LED flashlight. 5 stars as I knew it wasn’t crazy bright. It’s just bright enough for regular flashlight needs. Extra bulb in the base cap is a plus. Different filters for lights is also great. Stands up straight with angled light so it’s useful that way. Also doesn’t roll off tables ! Very durable. Perfect for camping or hunting. Not so bright you lose your night vision. Especially with red filter.
