Draft Stoppers contain all natural balsam. They are fragrant & healthy (see more info below). Our standard draft stoppers are 2" high. Special circumstances such as high door sills can require use of our larger diameter "Platinum Plus" series draft stopper, which is 3" high. If you have any questions, please ask. All the balsam products are filled with balsam fir needles and twigs that have been professionally processed and dried. Because of this process, the scent of our items will last for many years. Our draft stoppers reduce heating costs. They smell great, but that is just a bonus. Balsam is the perfect filling to seal the crack under the door, or window. The balsam fir is common in Northern New England, and is our well-known Christmas tree. For centuries, boughs were scattered over floors of churches and houses during winter, providing a clean, scented covering.
