Does anyone know how good this camera is? or word would be the best camera to purchase for an oem install on a sprinter van?

I bought this camera several months ago for my 2017 MB Sprinter van and installed it myself in a couple of hours. (Removing the existing light was probably the toughest part for me, that gasket is ON THERE!) I would highly recommend this camera. You can wire it to turn on with ignition, separate switch or reverse lights. This does not have a brake light built into it but I heard that you can pull the strip out of the existing light and install it behind the camera.

can the angle of the camera be adjusted?

No. The angle is the fixed angle from the factory. I installed an additonal camera that shows more than the hitch.
