Easy to use, slices clean, good safety features
Easy to use, good grip, slices clean and sharp and durable. No chance of my fingers or hands near the bland with the safety features. Better than I expected.

Where has this gadget been all my life??
The most important thing you should know: Many people snub their noses at kitchen gadgets, professing a culinary skill with knives. Fantastic! But not everyone has the same strength. Arthritis and other issues make chopping, slicing and dicing difficult. This gadget is so smooth, so easy to use, and well worth having. 1. THE PRICE Okay, so although I sneered at the price, I considered other ways I spend my money, and decided that if this gadget made working in the kitchen more fun, I was more apt to cook, and stay away from fast food. Done. I love using it, and experimenting with cut size, so it was worth it to me. It does save time, and time is also money, so... Add one to your cart, and wait for the price to go down. It will. 2. THE SAFETY You would need to TRY to hurt yourself on this tool, unlike using a flat mandoline, which for me, is almost a guaranteed accident. It comes with a nifty tool, so you should not ever need to put your fingers anywhere near the blade. If there is a tiny bit of food left in the slicing chamber, just give the lever a few more presses. If it doesn't come out then, it should when you remove the chute and rinse it, especially if you have the blades open wide. If your vegetable falls sideways, add more veggies to support each other, or use a tool to lift the veggie back into upright position before cutting. Yes, the blades are very sharp! THE VARIABLE CUT SIZES: The little dials are not complicated at all. If you turn the main knob to a number (1 is thin, but not THE thinnest) you can then open and turn one, or both of the little knobs to julienne wide or narrow. If you look into the gadget while you are turning the little knobs, you can see the little blades coming out, so you will understand how they work. The variety of cut sizes is plentiful! While I have no complaints, I will mention the cut is on an angle, so carrots, jalapenos and other tubular veggies tend to be elongated and not so much circles. Not a problem for me. They look cool! See photos, and also for the carrot the thickness of a dime, which was cut on the very first click of the dial. By opening both of the julienne blade controls, you can easily have matchstick veggies, which I find amazing. I've been looking for matchstick julienne for years. This is it! THE CHUTE: Place your goodies into the chute, and use the cap to press them into the blades as you push the handle down. You do not have to push hard on either the handle or the cap. Don't slam the handle down each time, or your vegetables will fly off. Gently, but consistently. CLEANING: It is a breeze to clean, especially if you pass it under running water right after you use it. I don't advise soaking this tool, as you may forget it is in the dishwater. Safety first. Use the handy tool it came with. STORAGE: You can put everything back into the box after you use it, or simply turn and press the handle in, and fold the legs in for storage. Easy. No fuss. FINAL THOUGHTS: If something happened to this gadget, I would definitely buy another one. I love it so much, that my first thought was "I want to buy one of these for friends and family." OH, AND WAS THIS REVIEW PAID, or DID I RECEIVE ANY FREE GOODIES? Absolutely not. I leave reviews, especially positive reviews, when I like a product this much. Just order one already.

It Does What it Should
I love french fries (who doesnt?). I also have an air fryer. But I got sooooo sick of how long it took to cut up all the potatoes. I honestly saw another version of this product on an instagram ad and then came to Amazon looking for it. I found it and purchased it. Let me get this out of the way first. It will get your fruit and veggies in many different ways. the downside is that it will take some trial and error to figure it all out. There is a dial that changes thickness and two like pin/clip things that change width. Once I figured out how to cut fry shapes i was happy. but it did take me reading the manual to do. but it used to take me a good 5-10min to cut my fries. Now, with this device, it literally takes 10 seconds. You can't beat that. Another thing to note is that there are a lot of "fry cutters" out there, but i notice so many of them saying "not for sweet potatoes". But im happy to report that i have been able to cut sweet potatoes into fries without a problem. a couple downsides: a lot of times the fruit/veggie will get stuck in the blade (usually the last bit, which is smaller than the rest.) Cleaning is not the easiest. It somewhat difficult to really get into certain places because they are covered by plastic to keep your fingers safe. Its not impossible to clean, but I do wish it was a little easier. Overall, I think its a good product. it has suction cups on its feet to keep it locked on the countertop (no sliding). and once you dial in how to get the cut you want, its very easy to do.

Safe and efficient
First... read the manual. This is a bit tricky to figure out initially. Once you figure it out. This is way faster than a regular mandolin. And safer. Cut enough vegies for a gallon of ratatouille in 3 minutes!

Simple and effective
Love it. I’ve tried plenty of others of this type, this one is my favorite. Chops sweet potatoes without any fuss and is easy to clean.

Works and safe!
Just like others said (reason I bought it) You can use it without cutting yourself! I've bought two mandolin slicers before and managed to cut myself and that was using the protection knob that came with it! I was never going to buy or use a mandolin again until I saw this. I have 2 food processor's that slice and shred and they're great, will still be using them, but they take up a lot of room in my dishwasher and I don't always want to go to all that trouble for a modest amount. The directions are pretty good, although my first use was difficult because I followed setup directions and turned A 360° and put C on 8 (thickest setting) and popped in a sweet potato. I couldn't push handle down all the way, had to push (really more like pump) handle and to my surprise out came french fries. So factory either set it wrong or you don't need to do that setup step for slicing, but I just turned A 360° again and slices came out. Slices do have partial, linear surface cuts in them, but I can't see why that would bother anyone, just wanted you to know so you won't think something is wrong. In fact I did a batch cut thiner and in strips, sprayed them with oil, and popped in air fryer and they came out with crispy edges! My sweet potato fries, although I love them, have never been crispy! I'm not crazy about tomatoes on this, but wasn't expecting to be, they really need serated blade, but they were better than I thought, just wasted tomato compared to slicing. Like others, I have to say I love this. Finally a mandolin I'm happy to use! Just wanted to add a tip I have found very helpful. Although the brush that comes with it is nice, it's been my experience with other blades and brushes that eventually the bristles get cut off, and I use this about every day that I cook. It is a little more difficult to clean because the blades don't come out, and there's quite a few places for food to get stuck. I found using a thin wooden skewer (you can buy a pack at the grocery store) helps immensely, even before cleaning, if I have a blockage. I can get into every nook and cranny. It keeps your fingers far from blade and you can run it down its ribbed area, up at the top by the blades and at bottom chute. Also if you buy thin flexible cutting sheets at Walmart to set it on, you can just take the sheet to sink, rinse and pop in dishwasher, saving you the mess on your counter you might otherwise get. Still love mine and it's been months.

An excellent choice if there is a lot of slicing and dicing to do. Otherwise, pass.
It is an excellent choice when there is a lot of slicing and dicing to do, but not so much when you just want to slice up some tatters to go with your bacon and eggs in the morning. This device does several things well, from slicing veggies at different thicknesses to shredding them. And it does them quickly. However, there are some drawbacks: One is that the feed hopper is too small to hold even a small onion, which must be peeled and cut into smaller pieces to feed it through the machine. The same applies to decent-size potatoes or any other round, normal-size vegetable. Two, cleaning the device after use takes some time because of its design: there are lots of little nooks and crannies that need to be cleaned one at a time using the provided tool. Dishwasher? Sure. But according to the instructions, you can’t leave it in the dishwasher during the drying cycle. Three, there are multiple parts, including the detachable input hopper and its associated push-feeder, the catch tray (which is too small for most uses). Four, The knob for adjusting the overall thickness and the two multi-knife slicers' height adjustments require time and experimentation to get them set the way you want them. On the plus side, it appears to be well-made and works as advertised. It would be a valuable tool if you are cooking for a large family gathering. But if you just want to dice up an onion, use a sharp knife.

Attrezzo super consigliato
Appena ricevuto e subito provato. Voto: 10

Very poor quality
The quality of the product is so poor, I couldn't believe that I order this item after I received it. The seller is advertising on amazon such a good mandoline slicer but in reality it not matching at all what it is shown. I am not happy of their product and one more thing that I paid extra for grey colour mandoline but they sent me blue instead. Charging more money and not fullfilling customer's needs and expectations what you paid for. It is shame!
