I have had this item since the end of Amazon prime days 2019. Upon arrival from the USPS everything was perfect. Item in stock box is well packed and easy to remove. Manual and warranty and remote on separate bag. Protective film over display and top of item. To remove plastic from filters you simply lift open on the bottom of front cover and its help by magnets on the bottom and hooks in on top. Easy to put filters back in and has tab saying what direction to reinstall, just incase you dont remember. Operation. Plug in hit power switch. Unit goes to high for me about 5 minutes and thats a fan speed of 3. Then it drops down to speed of 1 and stays their till something detected. First time my ac came on, must have kicked dust up in the room, for the unit went to high and quickly down to low. High speed you can hear but pretty quiet and unit is 6 feet from me. People have stated unit is very sensitive to environment changes and i totally agree, so sensitive it picked up me putting on hand cleaner. I also put on mineral ice and bingo high speed fan for 10 minutes to clear the air of issue. The funny thing is i had two chili dogs in my bedroom where unit is at, and unit went to high instantly and stayed there till 10 minutes after food was done. As for health, my eyes were first to improve, no more crusty eyes in the morning. Second change was wake up in the am with clear lung, no clearing throat or coughing. Its has improved my air quality that i an sleep better and breath better. I was shocked that it worked so well. I no longer wake up sneezing in the morning, so sweet. Others i had tried didnt. This is quiet even when not in sleep mode. Wonderful item and plan on picking up another one for front area of home. I do have a dog and zero issues with that. Do yourself a favor buy one. Quality from what i have seen is above average, zero fan or body noise. Would so buy this companies products again. Hope this review helps you! Enjoy 1 suggestion is instead of using silver-grey writings for buttons on black background try a contrast color. Something that would pop like red on black or white on black. My only complaint is you can read the darn buttons. I am 57 and a few friends 20 years younger than I reported issues seeing print. Hope the company gets this and seeks a fix in the future. Maybe even color coded buttons.

Absolutely works to clean up the air quality in our 1600 sqft 3 bd 2 ba Florida home. It’s super quiet. So much so that you second guess if it’s still pushing air. I added a video with sound to give you an idea of how quiet it really is. With it on the low setting, air is still being driven at a good clip but you can’t hear it. If you stand above it the fan is blowing strong but it’s still silent. Medium speed you can hear air movement of sorts. On high you can hear it whispering low. So low that if your sitting on the couch next to it the sounds of the TV are never challenged. As for it creating better air quality, I can assure you it does. After the first 24 hours it was night and day in my home. Since turning this unit on 4 weeks back my nightly routine of allergy medication has gone to the wayside. All of our allergy eye issues along with mild respiratory issues are now gone. The air feels lighter and any of the Cat odors have left the building. I can’t stand the subtle odor of a cat and I’ve complained to the wife and kids for years about it since I’m rather over sensitive to smells of animals I’ve never wanted. But I can honestly say now with this Hathaspace Purifier when I return home after being gone all day the air smells and feels fresh. I’ve never been a fan of a home that hints of the smell of pets but the things you’ll live with to make your children happy. Right? Well now this machine has taken the hint of cat odor out of the equation. Visitors to our home have also purchased one of these and they love it. The instructions say to change filters every 4 months and the backup filters were only $30 so that’s not that much of an issue. I’ll probably switch out mine every 2 months since we have the cat. But that’s just me. If your on the fence deciding which one to purchase I can assure you this one works awesomely and it was half the price. Like I said, we have 3 bd 2 bath one level Florida home and it cleans the air for our whole house perfectly. I do recommend for anyone with seasonal allergies that can get trapped inside the home or with anyone who has a pet they prefer not to notice through their nose and lungs.

I've had this Hathaspace HATHASPACE Air Purifier HSP001 for 3 years as of May 2023. I've had zero problems with the unit and the air is so much noticeably fresher and cleaner. I have two small Pomeranian dogs and there's no dog smell. The cost has changed significantly from $165 in May 2020 to current. The filter cost has stayed consistent (around $40 per Replacement Filters - 1 Set), so that's a plus. They're not gouging customers on filters over a 3-year period. In 2020, they recommended changing the filter set every 6 months. They now recommend every 4 months. I'm not sure it matters. But when it is time to replace you can see all of the gunk in the air that was trapped by the purifier. It does what it is advertised to do, and I like the subtle white noise. It's not loud at all. This little powerhouse keeps you and your pets healthy for sure. I don't have anything bad to say about the unit. My friend has several through his house and raved about it, which is how I found out about Hathaspace. If you value your respiratory health and clean air – this is a no brainer.

Don't get me wrong, the machine is QUIET, super-duper quiet, it does clean the air but just not as well as I expected. We initially bought it to clear out cigar smoke from the garage and although it did it, it just didn't clear the smell out as well as expected. There remained this lingering smell. The cleaner would be put on before the cigar smoke and left on well after smoking and although it was better than if it was not used, I just expected more. We then moved it into the kitchen to help clean the air during and after cooking. This made a difference in reducing the amount of cooking smells that traveled throughout the house but, again, it didn't eliminate or drastically reduced the cooking smells. All in all, its an ok machine depending on what your needs are. It's not an absolute waste of money, it does its job. With all its filters I really expected better performance. The machine is attractive and a little on the heavy side and the replacement filters (about $35) are easy to replace. The remote is self-explanatory. The only thing is that if you want the machine to clear out smoke and cooking smells you have to hit the "Anion" button.

Just got this in a couple of days ago. I've been looking at air purifiers for several months and after the wife recently had a friend come clean the house, realized just how dusty our house had become. Living a few miles out of town in SW Oklahoma and it's WAY dustier than when we lived in town. So anyway, after the cleaning gig, decided it was time to get serious about choosing a purifier to try. Of course, there are literally HUNDREDS of them on the market so I've read many, many reviews. I kept coming back to 2 or 3 and then I noticed that Amazon had this one on sale at, what seemed to me, an affordable price. So, with the sale price, the features listed, and favorable reviews I pulled the trigger on this one. Took just a few minutes to load the filters and get it going. It's a nice looking machine and seems to be built well. Nothing really flimsy feeling about it. The front is lock-hinged at the top and uses magnets to close at the bottom, so that's cool. The filters are quality feeling and fit well. Nothing cheap-o looking about them. The machine runs almost dead-silent on low speed. Noticeable sound on medium, and could probably be used as a white-noise fan-sound on high. Using the remote is easy and you can switch through the options of having the status-display on or off, turn on the Anion ionizer or not, set the timer if preferred, and set it to 'sleep mode'. It also has an 'auto mode' for adapting to the air quality it senses by increasing or decreasing the fan speed on its own. I've initially set it to low speed with the ionizer on, and that's where I've left it. The wife asked me, "How do we tell if it's working?"............Ha, good question. I told her, "Well, I don't know, maybe we'll see less dust in the house at some point (with a shoulder shrug)". So anyway, fast forward a couple of days and she remarked, "You know I was cutting onions for our soup (she is cooking ALL the time) and threw the onions in the trash, and normally they stink up the house, but got up the next day and couldn't smell them at all". I got to thinking about it and she was right. No onion smell at all in the house. So maybe that's a clue that it IS working. So I've got it sitting in the main area of the house, which is the living room/dining room/kitchen combined. Probably about 600 sq. ft. My plans are to have several of them throughout the house, maybe like one in each bedroom and so forth. I have since found out, through searching, that the same model can be found on auction sites and other 'for sale' sites in various conditions such as 'used', 'refurbed', 'open box', etc.........and many can be found for half the price or less, which considering, is a GREAT deal. So with that I've ordered 2 more and can't wait to get them all in and going. Recapping; I think it's a great looking unit. I looked at another unit that was similar in size but watching the video it really looked cheap whereas this one does not. I like the fact that it has an ionizer and I can opt to turn it off if I want to. I like the other options of a timer and the sleep mode if I need it. And it does have an 'auto' mode that works off of a sensor to automatically change fan speeds as it sees fit by testing the air. About the only knocks I could give it are the status display is a little much, especially at night time. However, if you turn it off and the unit is on low speed then you really can't even tell that it's on and working. That happened to us, I turned the display off and wifey wanted to know why I had shut the machine off. So.........It'd be nice if the company offered a simple green light to let you know it's on if you didn't want to see the status. The other knock would be that a lot of other machines out there have a washable pre-filter whereas this one does not. Is it a big deal? Can't really tell for now. I'll update this several months down the line when it's time to change filters.

I have had my Hathaspace for seven years now, and I run it 24/7/365. It still runs as well today as it did taking it, brand new, out of the box. We have a pretty clean HVAC system, and the stuff this purifier still pulls out of the air is amazing. Also, it operates with absolutely no sound except for when it kicks into high for whatever reason, and even then, it is still what I would consider quiet. Now I have decided to purchase the Hathaspace HSP002 for the main part of the house. I don’t know why I haven’t thought of doing it sooner. The main reason for the more expensive buy is because as I was changing the filters today, it occurred to me that in the 7 years I’ve owned this machine, I have never had a problem finding the filters. They didn’t do what a lot of companies do and change their product after the first year, just enough, so that the original filter would no longer fit, then requiring you to buy another machine, etc. They honestly made a top-quality product that works as well today as it did brand new 7 years ago. This is the kind of company that I don’t mind supporting! They are good and fair to their customers, so I’m going to continue to support them.!!! This purifier is worth every penny!!!

I read some reviews on here that think the air quality sensor on this unit "is a scam." I have one thing to say to those people, "READ the manual." If you read the manual it says upfront that the unit cycles through red, yellow and green for the first several minutes and does so anytime you reboot (unplug) it. Anywho, on to my review. I just got 2 of these units yesterday. I bought a new comfort UV, ozone generator/ air purifier over a year ago. We noticed drastic improvement in our allergies. I keep the new comfort in my studio where I make music because I spend a lot of time in there and that room is carpeted. Not to mention, I also have a Pitbull and a SchnauMation. Both dogs obviously produce some dander even tho they are indoor dogs and bathe once or twice a month depending on how much time they spend outdoors. So obs the air in our house has some stuff's floatin around. The new comfort treats up to 1300 square feet but I have to tell ya. If it's in my studio the air in the rest of the house doesn't cycle through it. So I decided we would get one for the living room and one for the bedroom where my wifey, dogs and I sleep. First thing I noticed yesterday. By the way, I sort of freaked out when I plugged it in for the first time and saw it in the red. So I READ the manual and realized that's normal. Once the unit stabilized we proceeded to clean our house. We use vinegar to clean the floors and surfaces because bleach is too harsh for both my wife and I. While my wife was mopping the living room I was cleaning the kitchen. When I was done in the kitchen I went to clean the bathroom and I walked through the livingroom. I looked at the air purifier and noticed it had gone from green to red! It smells the vinegar in the air lol. Best part of this is, the smell of vinegar usually lingers. I know because my buddy came over last week and I told him, "sorry about the vinegar smell." He just giggled and said, "dude your house always smells like vinegar, I usually smell it from the car when I pull up." 😒 Well, yesterday the vinegar smell was gone within 10 minutes and when the smell dissipated the Hathaspace went back to green. Later that evening I had a BBQ with real mesquite wood in the front yard. I usually leave the sliding door open with the screen closed. The smoke usually gets in and yesterday was no exception. Again, I walk in the house to grab a probiotic soda and look at the Hathaspace, its red again. It smells the smoke and works on clearing the air of it. It smells hand sanitizers and pretty much anything you can think of. If you run it on auto, it works harder when it smells something. This is great. I'm thrilled to have two units in our house! I totally recommend getting one if you want cleaner air in your home. Last bit of input from me. If you have allergies to dust, pollen and other floaties you likely have some food allergies or sensitivities. With that being said, if you eat something you're not supposed to you will have hayfever type symptoms.

Revision, April 3, 2019 After a few months of use of the replacement we received I am happy to report that the Hathaspace Air Purifier is working well and doing a great job of cleaning the air in my home office. Any and all previous complaints on my part are null and void and I can say with confidence that this is the best air purifier available, as I have tried quite a few others. I am now giving it the 5 stars it deserves. Revision, June 27, 2018 We received a replacement as soon as the Hathaspace purifier was back in stock. I have upped the review to 3 stars due to their stellar customer service. They were constantly in touch with me keeping informed about the replacement and they paid for the return of the broken one. Sometimes a product is defective through no fault of the seller, but the seller has the responsibility to make it right and in this case Hathaspace did just that. I will add that of four different air purifiers we have owned, priced from $99 to $200, the Hathaspace is by far the best of all. Hopefully the replacement will last a long, long time. I will revise this review again later once we know how the replacement is going to hold up and work as it is supposed to. Revision, June 10, 2018 I want to comment on the Hathaspace customer service. After writing the above review they immediately reached out to me and offered a refund or product replacement. Since the Hathaspace was the best of (now) three other air purifiers that we have tried we really were disappointed that it failed so soon after purchasing. When it was working properly it was doing an excellent job of cleaning the air and making it smell and feel fresher. However, as I mentioned above it did have a plasticky smell initially that seemed to decrease as time went by and when it failed that plasticky odor came back many times more noticeable. It's unfortunate that these products aren't made of BPA free plastics. Due to their excellent customer service I am upping the review to two stars, only because I feel that reviews should be more about product than customer service, although customer service is certainly an important aspect. But, the best customer service cannot make up for a faulty product. If and when Hathaspace sends us a replacement I will report back on the progress of the new product and give it a fair and honest second review. I sincerely hope that the original one we bought is a just a rare manufacturing defect because overall it is a great product when it is working properly.

We ordered the item in october and got it delivered to abu dhabi but as we live in bahrain we didnt receive the product until yesterday We opened the box remove the filters plastic and we tried to plug in bug unfortunately it is not working we tried on multiple connection points still it is not responding Can we know what can be done in this matter we purchased this for almost 1500 Aed and now it is not in use

I bought this with low expectation, mainly because we have a air purifier unit in our home in Finland which cost 400 euros and we are not happy with it. My partner suffers from allergies, multiple, so in our UK apartment I bought the Hathaspace. This is one ace product, attractive, good visual display, sleep mode (no illumination of front panel) and it is so good. Examples, I often clean my vinyl records with an alcohol based cleaner, it senses it, fan goes to top speed and quickly clear the air. The senser is good, much better than I am,you know what it is doing, the visual display tells you.The other day I was in the kitchen and it suddenly went to max speed, so I am looking at it confused. Then I realised that the process of me transferring my homemade wine from one barrel to another it had sensed the vapour it was giving off. This unit has improved the quality of air where we live, I need say no more. Thanks Hathaspce

I'll start off with my only issue. There definitely needs to be a 4th fan speed. The high level isn't as high/fast as I'd like, especially compared to other brands. I would love to try the new HSP002 model, but unfortunately I cannot afford it. I'm thinking its exactly what I'm looking for, especially in my large basement where our rescue kitties spend most of their time. So on to all the good points. I will be using this unit in my bedroom FYI. #1. The unit came fast once it finally shipped from Amazon. No issues crossing the border. It actually came 2 days early. I ordered extra filters as well which should do me for 10 to 12 months. #2. Setup is a breeze (zing). Take the unit out of the box, remove the protective plastic film from the unit. Pop the front off. Take out the filters and remove them from the sealed bags. Pop them back in (tabs facing out). Plug the unit in and away you go! #3. The unit appears to be decently made. Design. Fit. Finish. All good. I like the led display and it even came with a remote, which I wasn't expecting actually. All the filters appear to be nice quality as well. Although I wish the unit came with HEPA 13 filters, these are still great. #4. The ionizer works well. I won't actually use it often however as I am unsure how it affects pets. It's not just this brand, it's any brand. I haven't done enough research on the pros and cons of it. I'm sure it's safe but I cannot be sure as of right now. I plan on looking into it. The unit functions fine with it on or off so not a big deal. #5. Customer service. This company has great customer service. They answered all my questions. They were quick and courteous. No issues there. I will of course update my review as the months go by and I can't actually visualize how dirty the filters are. I've used many brands over the years and this is my first hathaspace unit so I'm happy to own one and try it out! I'd definitely recommend this unit. Bought this for a health-related use as our son is currently in hospital & coming home soon, so we wanted to do everything we could to ‘clean’ the air in the house. Tested it in the main room where our stinky dog sleeps and it has amazed everyone - you can’t smell the mutt at all! The unit is very neat, sturdy, solidly built & simple to set up and get going....so we may well buy another one or two for other areas of the house. It’s very quite when running in ‘normal’ mode. The front indicator panel lights are pretty bright, so we may need to cover it for ‘night-time ops’ but no major problem.
