I started taking this for inflammation and digestion and both have genuinely improved since adding it to my daily routine. The capsules are easy to swallow and have never caused any stomach issues for me which can happen with some enzyme supplements. NOW Foods is a brand I trust because they have always been consistent with quality and this is no exception. It is affordable especially compared to some other brands selling the same ingredient for way more. I take it on an empty stomach between meals and that seems to work best for me.

I assume any brand might work well however this is the first time I've tried Bromelain. All I can say is that after 40+ years of NOT knowing what was wrong with my neck and upper back/shoulder traps that would sometimes radiate to my head, jaw and sinuses, I think I've stumbled on the Holy Grail! As a very athletic person in my youth, this condition really set me back. I've had MRI's, a Neurologist telling me I had degenerative disk disease back in my 30's (now 67), several chiropractors, taught myself dry needling, tried practically every supplement you can imagine, big pharma drugs, etc... Well, I ended up diagnosing myself with Connective Tissue Disorder after reading about, then trying Bromelain. No physician or specialist ever mentioned 'Connective Tissue Disorder' and prior to reading about Bromelain, I had never heard the term. Main triggers: bending over doing things like yard work, lifting heavy objects over 20 lbs. The pain was nearly constant when my children were small and needed to be held. The pain would start to manifest the following day and I'd be in pain for 2-4 days normally. I faithfully take two 500 mg capsules daily, at least 2 hours before and 2 after eating, sometimes twice a day, with lots of water throughout the day. I no longer have pain and can lift my toddler grandson! I truly hope this review helps someone who has been suffering like myself. Amazing stuff. I'll never be without it!

Even though I don’t like the taste. Works efficient on my edema, helps for digestion. Easy to use . Not sure if it gives energy, I don’t feel energetic. It has kosher symbol. I checked the ingredients and looks like also Halal friendly; every questionable ingredients are vegetable sourced. Pill size is little bit big but easy to swallow because of texture. I’m almost finishing this item , I will definitely buy again .

It's working.. Reduces the negative reaction of certain foods has reduced my wife's back pain. Take between meals and not WITH meals.
