These cameras have such good picture quality. The cameras are good quality. They can be connected to your phone and you can control them with your phone. They turn easily very easy to use great value for the money. They don't have much lag, but I do live out way out in the country so occasionally, if the weather is bad, they might be slow.

Well I must admit, I was not a happy camper with Wansview several years ago when they upgraded their products and software to be cloud ready. I had a small investment back in 2016 with eight cameras that had pam/tilt capability, along with several other fixed view cameras. Altjough several had a few quirks, they held up well and were working fine. Good quality and well built, I was very satisfied with their product as well as their superior customer service. They were always quick to respond to any questions I had via email, never missing a reply to my query. To 2021, I needed to add a few cameras to my setup but found that their older cameras would not work with the newer cloud based software. I did not want two separate systems using two different apps for the old gen and new gen cameras. I decided to just try out the new cameras, and Wansview Cloud software. I ordered 3 diff cameras to get a feel for each. The W9 is a pan/tilt outdoor camera that I’ve been patiently waiting for wansview to offer for several years. They finally did. It was actually this camera that, once completing my testing, had me replace all of my indoor/outdoor cameras. I also tried the W6 and the Q6 cloud ready cameras. All three were very well built, even easier to get online, and a step above their older products. By the way, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO HAVE THE CLOUD SERVICE to view your recordings on the phone app. There are some restrictions when using your Micro SD card to view recordings but it did not affect my needs. The Windows software does not offer the option to view recordings, It is very bare, only really allowing you to view live streams and that’s it. Disappointing if you need/want the Pc software. The motion detection I’m still playing with but already it seems easier to use than the previous i-Smart software. This is still a work in progress for me as I’m making very small adjustments in the motion range to eliminate unwanted cars from bleeding into my sidewalk motion sensing where I’m trying to to get only people. So far I am very pleased with the newer offerings. The W9 was bought with two discounts that brought each on to $39.99 which is a great price for this camera. The W6 and Q6 were even cheaper and work very well, and all have great picture quality. I recommend wansview products to my friends based on my results, and if you are on the fence, I say make the move. You won’t be disappointed.

I have a lot of outside animals, and I wanted something to use to easily check in on the horses and flocks day and night, even when I’m away from home. These cameras were incredibly easy to install and working within minutes. I have the ability to pop on my phone, click which camera I want to use, and in a moment, I’m looking at my pastures from the comfort of my bed. The peace of mind I have now is amazing. It zooms almost 360 degrees so I mounted them where I can see the most. Night vision is good, and you can even turn on a light remotely if you want to get great imaging if you need more detail than the night vision. We also have one camera set up recording our house and driveway. We have motion alert on that one and it works great! I get a little notification on my phone and can click and watch the short recorded clips it picked up. Love that for safety. Even if someone saw the camera and messed with it, the clips are already safely on my phone. One of my four cameras suddenly wouldn’t power on, and I emailed the company who got back to me quickly and were able to send me a replacement camera right away. Excellent customer service. We’ll be adding more cameras around our big property, and I’ll definitely be sticking with this brand and company!

My husband and I have purchased 3 of these cameras to use for security outside of our home, and they have been absolutely perfect for our needs. We needed cameras that would require little to no maintenance while also being reliable, and these definitely fit the bill. They have been installed on the outside of our house for 6 months. Setup was very simple and you can use the app on your phone to move the camera while viewing live. The sensitivity of the camera can be adjusted to either be super sensitive so that you get notices about all movement or it can be adjusted lower if preferred. You can also set it so that it only sends you notices during certain time windows if you don't want texts coming in at nighttime. It has a night mode, which is clear on viewing, and it also has excellent range. One interesting feature is the speaker/microphone on the camera -- you can use your phone as the microphone and your voice is projected through the speaker on the camera. You can also hear sounds from outside on your phone via this speaker. We have had no issues with these cameras this far, and are very happy with them. We have recommended them to several friends and family members.

I would give it a negative star rating!!!! Camera just quit working or connecting to the internet so I requested a new one and their lousy customer service said they quit selling that model. Hmmmm? So replace it with the updated version? Their bad customer service said no it's discontinued. WTF DO NOT BUY THIS CRAPY CAMERA ANY OF THEM

These indoor and outdoor cams work fairly well mechanically and deliver a decent picture night and day. After a few days of using the software I would give it a D- . It’s a bit hokey like all this Chinese stuff and difficult to maneuver through quickly. These cams tend to pick up motion of rain, snow, bugs, distant cars, trees swaying, leaves, you name it, no matter how the sensitivity is set. At times during the night it will record over a hundred motion alerts. It tends to make you turn off the motion alerts. When you find hundreds of motion alerts and go to delete them, you are stuck slowly doing them one by one. I sat for an hour trying to get rid of three cam recordings for one night. Not acceptable at all. There needs to be a bulk erase feature. You’ll find orientation is not correct for viewing on some iPads. My 12.9 models is sideways and the standard iPads are correct, sometimes! The constant push to buy the expensive “cloud” feature is annoying and way too much for what it is. I had hopes for a better system but unfortunately its turned into a realtime view only system for us. The speaker is very hard to hear outside and you would find it difficult to have a person hear you unless the were right below it. The siren is moderately good but only stays on for mere seconds. Needs to stay on to frighten away intruders or get attention of neighbors. The cams are ok just buy them only expecting 1/2 or less of what you think you’re getting.
