Excellent thermometer! I have 2 girls with a history of febrile seizures and having a quick accurate temperature reading is a must---especially because I may need to get 4-5 different temperatures within 2 minutes to see how fast her temperature is rising. It comes with a handy protective bag so I carry it with me in my purse--helpful for me, maybe less so for parents of children without seizures, but I appreciate it. If there is no fever, the thermometer is fast enough, quick enough, and quiet enough to use even while they are asleep.

This is a horrible thermometer! I bought it for nursing clinicals. Took the temperature of a patient and it came back tremendously low so I tried with a different thermometer and the temperature came back normal. I thought something was wrong with the batteries so I changed them. Took the temperature of my 4 month old nephew and it came back normal. We took him to the ER anyway, and they got 101 temp! Awful product, very dangerous.

It gives completely inconsistent readings. They vary from 91.6 F to 94.2 F. I took 15 readings. My ancient mercury thermometer reads: 99.4 F three out of three times. My electronic under the tongue thermometer reads 99.7 F consistently.

Went from F to C. Instructions for change don't work. I am sick and have to use Google to convert and get my temperature reading. Piece of junk.

Easy to use

Inconsistent, cheap quality. Do not recommend. It is inaccurate every time, often off by several degrees. Mine is going in the trash.

Can't get one consistent reading, ear or forehead. And I'm talking a difference of up to a full degree each time I try. Basically worthless when it comes to accuracy.
