Priced better than supermarkets
Bought this twice and they usually arrive timely. I've purchased Ochazuke in asian stores in NJ and they vary in price and also quite expensive. This bulk price is great and my girls love the sour plum flavor.

Very Tasty, But Not Much Umeboshi Flavor At All
I LOOOVE Ochazuke, so I thought I would try the pickled plum flavor Nagatanien Ume-Boshi Chazuke. It is VERY tasty, but the umeboshi flavor is really not there. As other reviewers mentioned, I also added pickled plums from my stash in the fridge for the desired plum flavor. Nagatanien Ochazuke is a delicious, fast, easy to prepare meal, that includes rice crackers, soup stock granules, nori strips, etc. I prep and freeze rice in bulk just to make ochazuke because I eat it so often. All you need is rice, a packet, hot water, and done! No cooking time at all! This "bulk" pack is a great deal, as it is pretty expensive in stores, when you can find it. Though each little packet, which comes 6 to each bag, and this has 5 bags, is supposed to make one bowl of ochazuke, I find it works to divide it in half to easily make two smaller bowls or one very large bowl of soup if you are that hungry! Ochazuke... "Tea Rice" is a well loved Japanese stand-by meal that every soup lover should try, it is that tasty, and Nagatanien Ochazuke comes in several different flavors for a variety of tastes!

A perfect snack for all ages!
As a child I had this over hot white rice and water after coming home from school and it was a great mid-day pick me up. Almost 65 years later it’s just the same. Only now I don’t have to go to school!

Great tasting and great for leftover rice.
Great product and one that I've been eating since childhood. I like buying in bulk like this now as they don't really spoil so you can keep them in the pantry for a long time. Great flavor but, again, I grew up with this brand so it's nostalgic too.
