I bought two of these racks to store my long boards up near the garage roof. Works like a charm. I bolted them to the crossbeam at the ridge in my garage. The kits come with lag bolts and are easy to install. Just need a wrench and a drill. I mounted mine in reverse of the photo, with the arms up as there isn't room for the board in the other configuration. But they seem plenty strong enough for the board and as long as I don't slam it up there it will be fine. Glad to get the boards off the floor and out from underfoot.

Not a lot of space in my townhome so I decided to go with this type of rack for my SUP and installed it in my living room. Easy to install and holds my 10’6, 32” well. Read the reviews about the screws so I used my own heavy duty star bit screws.

These are awesome racks! Super easy to install and very sturdy with lag bolts that are provided with the rack. The foam is enough to keep the board ding free, but is low profile so they look clean on the wall, also they come with black caps to hide the lag bolt heads (nice touch).

Product is made out of durable metal, very nice quality paint, and it is wrapped in a foam that will protect my kayak that I put on it. Really simple install. Overall I am very pleased with the product and will come back to Nice Rack when I need to hang another kayak.

The lag bolts provided are terrible they bent into or out of the wall with just one board on it The rest is strong tho after I replace the lag bolts everything is fine now

I wouldn't say the lag bolts are heavy duty. Two of them broke in half while installing. After a trip to the hardware store, maybe I'll get this thing installed and edit this review.

Mounted to the fence studs for a SUP cleaning station and they work great.
