Perfect for XT M8000
Perfect product. This is designed for the Shimano XT M8000 rear shifted. This product allows you to remove the shift indicator window. I wanted to mount the shifter on the outside of my brake lever but could not do that with the shift indicator. This lowered the profile allowing for more versitile mounting options for the shifter.

It's a cover. Works. Should come with the shifter but that's no fault of Amazon or the product itself.
