Before anything else, I spritzed it inside and out, and all over, rolled up a facial towl with precision, and molded it on the inside and then another and flattened out the brim, and rolled it around the entire rim, leaving the three to dry alone, perfectly flat. The result was a perfectly shaped hat and I recommend this method for all cloth hats like this instead of complaining, these are not hats from the Queen of England in a highly-decorated hat box. They are inexpensive, lightweight hats meant to be folded. "Uh, but, Kevo, how is the darn hat???" Okay, okay, it is a good hat. One important thing to remember is that when buying any hat, especially popularly sold ones, your head plays the biggest part in how a hat looks! Even the famed black mouse ears do not just look good on everyone. Don't believe me? Go to the park! I have the precise measurement of 23.5 inches and this hat fits perfectly. But I hate it. Then, again, I hate hats! But it's my head. Nothing wrong with my head but I have never liked hats on me. Okay, maybe psychosis is part of buying a hat, too, because everyone who sees me in a rare hat moment says it and I look great! Bad hat. BAD HAT! No, just the way I see myself in a hat. Do you like yourself in dayglow vests? Neither do I, but we may look gorgeous in them anyway! Remember your head can be the culprit. This hat looks fine on me even though I hate hats. My dermatologist insisted I now always wear a hat that covers the top of my head Mandatory. So I got a dang hat. This boonie is the blue Digi-camo and is really good-looking. Like, me. I am. Because I'm not an alien like Imtikopx, the Plutonian "model" here staring at me in my hat. I also have great hair. Another reason to not wear something that makes me feel entombed. Like a hat. But the paparazzi lost my address and I have to take care of my head, and me, so, I have a UV hat that I do not regret buying. The adjustment cord is great, it is comfortable, the snaps are sturdy and strong, and it is just a nice hat! On someone else, and, I suppose, on me too. I just don't have the neato outfits to go with it other than my matching blue eyes! Well, my eyes do match each other but also the hat. Sheesh! Closing up the hat shop, I will add the tag is in the back but it looks better on me when the tag is in the front. Again, it's "not the hat, it's me". I will pick any hat apart on my head but add here that I have no regrets about the hat. For the money, it is terrific and I recommend it! Good gift idea, as well.

Excellent hat and color. One problem; it’s packaged incorrectly as you possibly could. The hat is snapped and folded so has these absolutely goofy looking permanent bends in it. I hope it’s fixable cause it looks so stupid. Other wise excellent hat. I’d recommend if you don’t mind putting a little time in to fix it. Fits a bit loose on my 7.5 inch head, which is good, has room for bandana, sweat band etc.

I love this hat. It’s thinner than I thought but it works as described. Love that is has the string to help keep it on in windy conditions. The size of perfect seems of good quality. Great value for the money.

There is nothing that I like about this hat. The label is marked 60% cotton and 40% polyester. This sounds like a poplin blend, but it's not. I doubt that it is even 40% cotton. The fabric is cheap and loosely woven, and this hat is not at all absorbent. It doesn't even have a sweat band in it. The hat is absolutely impossible to to shape, and even on my 7-3/8's head is so over sized, it droops over my eyes. Without a sweat band, I can't even stuff it to fit. Far from what I expected, this hat is absolutely worthless. Addendum: Apparently, the fabric in this hat is heavily impregnated with fabric sizing. After washing, the hat was more agreeable for me. The fabric may actually be 60% cotton, as it shrank a bit, though it is still too large for my sizeable head. The fabric is still cheap, and it still does not have a sweat band. This is not a a perfect hat, but it is now at least acceptable, enough so I bumped it up to a 3 Star rating. Making the best of a bad situation... If like me, your hat is too large, you can resize it by adding a paracord drawstring. Start at the back seam of the hat, an thread a length of paracord through the bandoleer. Thread about half-way around the hat. Cut the cord about 6" - 8" longer (you can trim it later if necessary) than it takes to go around the hat. After threading, tie the cord around the other side of the cord, on each end (see picture). When you burn the ends of the paracord, leave a little ball on the end to help keep the knot from coming undone. By sliding the knots away from each other, you tighten the drawstring, sizeing the hat down. This gives a not un-appealing hat band look to it.

This is a great light weight hat for working around the yard and keeping the sun out of your face. It fits comfortably is well made and is a nice neutral color.

For the price point, I did not expect much from this. I was PLEASANTLY surprised by the generous fit and rugged, rip-stop material. Wide brim for optimal sun protection. Versatile brim snaps for the Jessie Ventura in Predator look. Old Painless is waiting. Be a sexual Tyrannosaurus, just like me! Slip on the adjustable, Breathable, handsome chapeau and mow down some banana trees in style!
