Good block tint/but not for windshield not in a jeep!
Very easy to put on the inside of my Jeep Wrangler however, 5 inches was too much I needed three maybe but it was very hard to see out of so ripped it off threw it away and we’ll go back to the drawing board! Need something I can see through when driving!

Very nice way to block view inside
I have new neighbors and they took down the privacy fence the previous owners had. Their tv room windows were right outside my bedroom windows, so if they were working on their yard or sitting in that room they were looking right in my house. I did not want to keep my blinds closed all the time. This was the perfect solution. Easy to install (I used windex, not their solution). There are lines on the back to help cut a straight line. If I stand back from window I can see out and the light comes in nice and filtered. If you stand right next to the window however, you can't see out well. No problem there except I was hoping to put it on my front windows too but can't because the dogs cant see out. From the street it looks like I just have blinds closed. Very happy. I added a few pictures. The first is how it looks outside, like a shade. The second is if you look out window standing close to window, hard to see out. The third is a window in back of house where I just covered half the window and you can see how nice you can see out. It’s dark because it is pouring down rain. Which lets you also know it stays on even when raining. It was on window for awhile before it rained

A challenge to install but nice!
I bought this after reading another review from a purchaser that was having a problem with the sun bouncing off of his porch windows and cooking everything on his deck. This was pretty easy to measure and cut with scissors thanks to the grid marks on the peel-off backing. My windows have a screened section of glass that is a slider, and a stationary section that the sun was bouncing off of and ruining my pool cover! Glass sections are 21 1/4" by 44 1/2". I cut the vinyl to the exact measurement. Cleaned the glass really well. Laid the cut vinyl on my outdoor table and started the top 4 or 5 inches of peeling the backing down... just enough to climb the ladder and get the top centered/aligned really well. That's important because the rest of your install depends on starting absolutely square at the top. Once the top edge and first couple of inches is stuck, start slowly pulling off the backing from underneath the vinyl, a few inches at a time, and smoothing very carefully to avoid air bubbles. If you goof, you can carefully lift it back to your wrinkle or air bubble and re-smooth it. Tiny air bubbles can be pressed out afterwards, but the better you do up front, the better your end result is. The vinyl looks blue in the photo but it's pure white in person. Easy to see through from the interior of my sun porch, but unless you have a lot of lights on, it also provides privacy from eyes on the outside. I just did this a couple of days ago, so I cannot comment on the success of my project as far as sun protection goes nor can I comment on the longevity of the vinyl. I hope it lasts a few years, because it was not cheap and it was a bit of a challenge to install. I'm very OCD and am pleased with the end result so far. Looks much better than the plastic blinds I had hanging up there for several years...

Take your time to install...
If you have little, to no experience with working a product like this...just make sure you take time and not move too quickly...the perforated vinyl is literally as thin as a sheet of paper and the additional adhesive and perforations that make this product a bit awkward to work with...repositioning and wrinkles here and there will likely occur...but product is somewhat forgiving if you are patient and gentle. For my application, I was looking for a solution to stop birds from seeing their reflection in my newly-installed windows. The awning style placed the insect screen on the inside, which made the very reflective outside noticeable to some birds that were just too dumb to realize that it was not another "rival" moving in on their territory. The bird stopped slamming against my window before installing the vinyl...but come next season, I hope it works. (The added black bird decorations, was a follow up, since the plain white vinyl didn't look all that nice alone.)

It would have been better to paint my window
This wasn't bad to put on. Seemed ok. Six months later, I go to take it off and the nightmare begins. Heat guns, scrapers, soap, adhesive removers... I want my window back. I'm HOURS into the removal and the end is nowhere in sight. Save your windows. Unless you want this FOREVER, DO NOT USE. When you just put it on, it comes off easy, but months later, it's a whole other story.

It's ok...
Wasn't as east to install as you would think. NOT scratch resistance. Stickyness fades.

Works well for privacy
Easy to trim and fit on glass storm door. You can see out but others can’t see in very well (unless the lights are on inside your house). Great to maintain privacy when answering the door. Does reduce the sunshine to a degree, helping to keep it cooler inside. This film is applied to the outside of the door. It will become brittle with time and will not peel off for re-use.

Fácil instalación
Excelente.

Perfect for making glass appear white while still allowing visibility.
We bought this to make eyes in our windshield and it worked amazing! It looked solid white looking in but looking out we could see perfectly!
