Good value, great performance
Over the years I have all but retired my roughing gouge with an easy rougher using this square head to round pretty much everything that ends up on my lathe. I keep a handful of replacements that get rotated then sharpened on a diamond plate. On average I buy 1 new cutter every year once an old one gets chipped too much to hone. Great cutting on all kinds of wood, resins and inlays. Watch your speed/aggressive cuts and clean out the tiny screw threads and these should serve you well.Note: I never have compared these with any aftermarket replacement heads but would think the EWT quality would be hard to beat.
