Good final figure from War for Cybertron
Blaster is the final toy released for the ‘War for Cybertron’ trilogy. It is a positive figure to end the line on and, perhaps, one that might have been long expected after the multiple figures of Soundwave. Thankfully, rather than just being a recolour or slight remould of one of the Soundwaves, this is a completely new mould; although inevitably there are some similarities with the transformation due to the nature of their altmodes. The transformation procedure isn’t, perhaps, as easy as might be perceived. Although it is a relatively simple process it can prove a bit awkward. Getting the fists to fit into the cavities in the sides of the speakers whilst aligning the various tabs and side panels is quite fiddly and can easily result in a slightly bent looking boombox. Once correctly aligned, though, it is a fantastic looking altform that is quite loyal to the look of the Generations 1 original. Thankfully, ‘Kingdom’ Blaster hasn’t had some vague Cybertronian, spaceship form bestowed upon him. There is also a fairly decent robot mode. But then again, it isn’t too hard to make a good robot out of something that transforms into what is essentially a rectangle. The head is based upon the human looking variation rather than the, perhaps, more traditional and robotic version with the visor style eyes. The chest panel obviously opens to allow the storage of cassette minions. Unlike WFC Soundblaster, it will only hold a single cassette, but sharing the basic size with Soundwave, Soundblaster and Doubledealer means that all the WFC cassette characters are interchangeable between them. The chest is opened by a single button that is made to look like the usual selection of buttons that come with a cassette player. Like Netflix Soundwave, Blaster has an extended index finger on his right fist so as to simulate him opening his own chest compartment. Unfortunately, though, and unlike Netflix Soundwave, there seems to be no way his finger can reach however you try to bend his arm. A more successful bonus touch to the robot mode are the circular panels in his legs that can be rotated to reveal faux speakers in an effort to emulate the look of the original toy. The main bonus, though, is that he comes with awesome accessories. He has the distinctive rifle usually associated with him, which can also be stored on the back of the boombox. But he is also accompanied by one of his cassettes. Eject is an entirely different mould to that of Rumble, Frenzy and Knok. In terms of shape he has the shoulder pad look of the original but is coloured here in a translucent blue, possibly to tie into the Energon infused theme of the upcoming ‘Legacy’ line that will see a release of this Blaster. As expected from one of the cassettes, Eject has a very simple transformation. Unfortunately, it is extremely difficult to prise his head out, resulting in the need for a small tool. Considering that Blaster is the usual Voyager Class price, the inclusion of Eject is definitely a huge plus.

Blasting off, live and direct
I've been waiting for a version of Blaster that scales to Soundwave for what feels like 16 years. Because it is 16 years (blimey!) since I first had a go on the original Blaster toy in the Transformers Collection line (A fancy collector aimed reissue line from off of Japan). So hooray for Kingdom Blaster! He's really great and annoyingly way better than the slightly podgy and derpy Siege/ Netflix Soundwave toy. He's all boxes, but is surprisingly dynamic and looks awesome in a pose or twenty. Transformation is nice, if a bit flappy, hear and there and the stereo mode looks like something straight out of Wyld Style. Love it. Eject is also brilliant, transforming into an actual cassette, so trumping the Siege Decepticon 'tapes' which all just turned into a shape. I'm super pleased with Blaster and his plastics are all nice and solid too.

È da tanto che ti aspettavo
Un voyager che ogni collezionista deve avere e da affiancare a soundwave! Belle le vernici e ottime le articolazioni . Peccato i troppi vuoti lasciati tra gambe e braccia

Great figure. Fast shipping. Perfect condition.
Really can’t articulate much more than the title. The figure got here faster than advertised. Box was in perfect condition. The Blaster figure itself is probably the best Kingdom figure to date and should fit nicely beside your other G1 Kingdom or SS86 figures. I am not buying a ton of mainline non MP figures nowadays but he was a must get.

One of the best voyagers of the year so far.
This figure is an amazing piece that is both fun and very well done. The alt mode comes out very well and is painted immaculately. Robot mode is very clean with no annoying holo spaces besides the arms and the figure is nice and tall mimicking how his G1 toy was massive compared to the rest of the cast. Eject is clear blue which isn't ideal but it is amazing they added it as well as giving us an amazing Blaster to fight Soundwave who didn't get any of his pals with him. Get the easier to find legacy version rather than the kingdom figure but still definitely get it.

EXCELENTE FIGURA!!!!
