🔥 Cool your rig like a boss — don’t let heat hold your performance hostage!
Thermal Grizzly Minus Pad 8-100x100x1.0mm is a high-performance thermal interface pad made from ceramic silicone and nano-aluminum oxide. It offers 8W/m·K thermal conductivity with flexible compressibility to fill gaps between components, ensuring efficient heat dissipation for SSDs, GPUs, and other electronics. Electrically non-conductive and compatible with a wide range of hardware, it’s the go-to solution for enthusiasts seeking to reduce VRAM and VRM temperatures and prevent thermal throttling.

Best pad I have used to date.
These pads are by far the best pads I have used to date. Compared to the competition of other 3rd party pads they are near the top. Compared to the stock ones on your graphics card or any other device.... these pads will blow those out of the water. If your wondering if buying these pads are worth the time for your GPU... All I can say is "it depends". If your overclocking, or you notice VRAM temps are through the roof, then absolutely yes it is worth it. Especially on any card with GDDR6X memory, that memory runs VERY hot. On an RTX 3080 I noticed that VRAM could easily hit 100C at max load and thermal throttle. After the pad swap I was in the high 70Cs to low 80Cs massive difference and performance was definitely noticeable. If however your running a card with regular GDDR6 memory, such as any 6000 series AMD card or an RTX3070 or lower, then your mileage may vary as standard GDDR6 runs much cooler then GDDR6X. If your stuck with a card with a bad cooler, these will definitely help, but may not be necessary since GDDR6 isn't as hot to begin with. Point is, check your temps, if they are to high for you, these pads will certainly help.

Enthusiast? GET THESE. Regular PC user? May be overkill for price
Really started loving these guys for cooling supplies. For thermal pad, it's super easy to work with and does help lower temps...just don't expect it to be earth shattering differences. It's a thermal PAD after all Cons - Price for the average user (non-enthusiast) - Need some good fingernails to peel off the plastic film without risking tears or pulling some of it apart. Just take your time if biting your fingernails always ends up being more convenient than trimmers... Pros - THE enthusiast solution for pads, but may be overkill price wise for the average user. Much more expensive for a few degrees difference. Worth it for me by far though - About the best quality pad I've used. Not the slippery or super fragile ones that are cheap - The side with the thicker film really sticks well. Works great to get it on all of the memory chips and not worry about them falling off or moving, even if the heat sink needs to be slightly maneuvered after touching the less sticky side - Fantastic for VRM and memory chips. Temps lowered average 7 degrees on my Gigabyte Z270 motherboard while overclocking

Thermal Grizzly minus 8...Good stuff lower temps
Great stuff. Works.

Good as can be
Thermal grizzy is always my choice. The pads are easy to prep and use. I haven't had a problem so far. Works like a charm in the electronics I use them on.

3090
Worked well for my 3090 fe pad swap. They have held up great over the last 3 years under high heat.

Dropped 3090 VRAM 20ish degrees C
YES these are AUTHENTIC. These are legitimate. I contacted Thermal Grizzly. They replied and said the Minus 8 does NOT come with a certificate. The (2) vendors here on Amazon I ordered from (MemoryC & one other I cant remember) were both listed as authorized. After adding some generic aluminum heatsinks to the back of the card and rigging up a 120mm 2000rpm Vardar fan, I still could not keep the VRAM temps below 100 without reducing Vram to no overclock and keeping hashing at like 106 Mh/s. I ordered 1mm, 1.5mm, and 2mm Thermal Grizzly Minus 8 because you can disassemble and re-assemble without having to replace it. The other brands have higher wattage dissipation but the videos I watched and reviews I read, said those other brands tear apart really easy and are not for amateur hour like me! Used some of each on the front and back of my MSI Gaming X Trio 3090. Vram temps were hitting over 106C before. Now, after replacing front and back pads on most things except the capacitors, it hovers between 84C and 88C (room is low to mid 70s F most of the time) while mining 121 Mh/s on Etherium. My settings in MSI Afterburner: 1290mhz core locked (using Ctl F and hitting L to lock it), 1107 memory, 85% fan, 85% power. Took me disassembling and re-assembling three times to get it right though. First time, after installing the Minus 8 pads, I accidentally lifted the front fan/cooler assembly off the circuit board while moving it. Thought nothing of it, re-seated it back in place assuming everything was fine. NOPE! One row of thermal pad had lifted off the VRAM, moved over, and flipped and twisted. This caused my GPU temp to be in the 70s, and the VRAM to be back over 100. Took it back apart, found and fixed the issue, and reassembled. Temps were not any better. Took it back apart. Had to add more Noctua Thermal paste to the GPU core. Also decided to replace the thermal pads on more than just the VRAM. GPU temps were back down to high 40s C to low 50s C but VRAM was still high. Took it back apart and decided to look more closely at my back VRAM thermal pads I installed. I noticed the pads were not all the same height over the heat pipe section. I doubled up the 1mm I had used on the section directly next to the heat pipe (half of the VRAM here touches the Heat-pipe and half doesn't). This time the pads all looked like the same height. Reassembled and finally the VRAM temps were in the low 80s. Third time's a charm! Hard as a rock
The pads are not very good in terms of performance to begin with, add in that they are hard as a rock, do not buy! Better pads on the market out there.
