does this work for privacy when its dark out?

No. I was disappointed when I installed this on my door window. It works great in the day but at night people can see in.

is there one that is applied from the inside with the white facing out for a 2nd story window?

You can use this inside or outside. Inside will just last longer. White facing street or inside? Vvivid vinyl has more products on their site. However they are out of Canada so it takes a bit longer to get product.

What is the size hole? For a listing of 35/65, 0r 30/70 which one is the hole size? What is the unit of the hole size? in mini-meter? or what?

50/50, But realize, this film is not, 1 way view. This film is absolutely so through from both sides once you apply it you can see from the outside and you can see from the inside of it barely blocks any of vision at all

Are you able to print on the exterior side of the film? If so, who provides such a service?

Any of the FastSign Sign or equal sign Companies can print on this material. I used it for many projects that wanted to advertise in their windows, as well as use it for sunscreen. It's rated to about 85% of heat blocking properties. I have it on my sliding deck doors. I can see out, nobody can see in IN THE DAYTIME. At night, with inside lighting on, the general population can see in. Close your blinds.

Very easy to put on the inside of my Jeep Wrangler however, 5 inches was too much I needed three maybe but it was very hard to see out of so ripped it off threw it away and we’ll go back to the drawing board! Need something I can see through when driving!
