great start to gunsmith tool set
I was building my first AR, and this was a great start only thing I needed that was not here was the vise grip mag holder. This set will provide me with more tools, as I have learned from other gunsmiths with other firearms the need for the block. The right hammer and punch for not damaging the items being worked on.

Good overall tool
Good tool, I have used it for my AR build and while there are some things that I needed that weren't in this set, that is on me for not realizing it needed them. The changeable heads are nice and quick and easy to swap out. The punch sizes are a good variety and the plastic ones could be used in more delicate applications.

Had a problem getting the hammer ends changed out. Could get it to thread. It got the job done but. I would purchase again because of that

Great value for what I would consider an entry level kit of tools.
4/17/2026. Decent kit for DIY'rs like myself. Used the punches to replace trigger in HK P30. Punches and hammer worked fine. I don't do a lot of gun work so this kit was a perfect blend of breadth of tools and quality. Kit came with a variety of tools and jigs that made the job quick and painless. Not all the components fit into the plastic box supplied so I had to dig up a separate bag of my own to hold all the items provided. Punches seem strong and did not bend. Hammer had a soft end perfect for tapping trigger pin. The jig didn't fit my pistol perfectly but I didn't expect it to. It did allow me to tap the pin through with jamming it into the surface underneath. Placement of padding under pistol Frame prevented damage to the gun's finish. I am satisfied with my purchase. Only 4 stars because I reserve a 5 Star rating only for products that amaze me beyond belief and only after using for a period of time.
