Black Plastic Appearing Cane with Video Tutorial - Stage Magic Trick

There's nothing wrong with this cane, except that it only opens to about 30" which is fine for a child, but not for an adult. We have clever adult actors who are using this "flaw" by turning it into a "bit" in our show so it has ultimately worked out fine. The mechanism by which it appears works well and once one gets used to how to fold it back up, is easy. BUT there were no instructions, so first use is tricky.

These are pretty nifty devices and create a really clever visual effect. My only concern is how to keep resetting them for multiple shows. Once they expand into full length it is a little tricky to reset them. I would highly recommend the seller to provide more clear directions on how to reset these.

It said that it was metal, but it is more plasticy. It was not the metal that I saw in a local magic store. But - in the end it still does the job, so I am okay with it.

This works OK. However, it is rather flimsy. Don't expect to use it for more than the initial illusion of making a cane "appear".

not quite as described but son had a lot of fun playing with it for a few hours before it tore up.

When used the cane had a tendency to separate toward the larger end.

OK at best. Worked as much as I needed it to.

In short, this took about 30-45 days to receive but it was cheaper than anywhere so I guess its OK.The product works but is not as good as other ones I have seen. This one is a little less smooth than other ones but given that the good ones cost $20 and this was very cheap, it is good enough.They also included a mini cane for free which works better than the main ones and is worth it by itself.

Waardeloze rommel. Springt niet open . En als het uiteindelijk open gaat ,dan is het niet meer dicht te krijgen . Waardeloos stuk plastic
