have bought several cases of these for running and cycling. love the flavor and are each on my stomach and don't leave that sticky or chalky feeling in your mouth. would highly recommend

I would not compete without these. They have been great for an added kick during triathlons or just before an intense gym work out. Never any jitters- even with the caffeine. They fit easily into a tight pocket and taking two or three with you for an extended competition is simple. The texture takes a little getting used to but after two or three, you get used to it. I like the jet blackberry with caffeine best. I recommend one about 15 minutes before your workout starts. If you are competing for a length of time, maybe a second an hour later.

I have just started training for a 50 mile Ultra. During my training after running for an hour or more it became a struggle to have the energy to continue. I was previously using Starburst and other snacks to fuel my runs however many times they would effect my stomach in a negative way so I decided to give these gels a shot after reading the reviews. I chose the Jet Blackberry because they have caffeine in them. The texture and consistency is like honey and they are probably as sticky as honey. They are very easy to open and I was able to fold the wrappers with little effort and store in my pack. They didn't make a huge mess in my pack when doing this. They are very easy to consume while running and after about 10 minutes I did feel a nice burst of energy. I had a lot less cramping and upset stomach on the day I tried these gels. The flavor was good. It wasn't the best snack ever however it wasn't difficult to get down and tasted very similar to a fruit roll up but not quite as sweet. I will continue to use these gels throughout my training. I feel like they are a necessity for long runs. Next I would like to try the Roctane version.

These work well for my 10+ mile long runs. Yes, they are sweet but they do not upset my stomach. I am better able to run with good form during long runs when I use these gels for fuel. During long races I use one of these at the start but during the race I use the 20mg caffeine gels as the 40mg caffeine is too much for my stomach to handle when I am running hard for an extended distance. I have tried the Maurten Gels which are less sweet but Gu works better for my sensitive stomach.

Amazing product! I was a little concern about how much caffeine I was getting in each packet, but overall it was good. I recommend having some with caffeine and some without. I used one after every half hour during my half marathon. I did feel a little bad about throwing it on the side when using.

I’ve tried a lot of gels, and I don’t love the vanilla or chocolate ones. The texture and taste just aren’t there for me. But these blackberry ones are the best. They taste great, have the added bonus of caffeine, and give the perfect sugar hit during endurance training. They’re my go-to for long runs and rides. Highly recommend if you’ve struggled with other flavors.

Bought these for a Spartan run in October 2024. Got me and my son through the race as we only had them on us for the entire run (21km Beast). Easy to stow away in your hydration pack for and obstacle run or marathon.

Good product, no problems. Better price than similar brands.
