Will the sensimist cause fewer nosebleeds than regular flonase?

I can't use regular climate because I am allergic to fragrances. But sensimist has given me fewer and shorter nose bleeds than any other nasal steroid. If I am not going somewhere where I will be exposed to allergens, I use 1/2 dose, one spray each nostril, and rarely have a nose bleed. The fine most is very gentle, and the delivery button makes it easier to deliver a dose.

I want to switch from my generic flonase to the senimist. Would the dosing be the same as in 2 sprays if i use 2 sprays of flonase?

No, the dosage is not the same. Flonase (fluticasone propionate) and Flonase Sensimist (fluticasone furoate, also known as Veramyst) are two DIFFERENT drugs. The dosage for fluticasone furoate aka Flonase Sensimist is two sprays per nostril per day until symptoms are well controlled (1-2 weeks) and after that, the dose changes to one spray per nostril per day

How is it that the Sensimist with 60 metered sprays has more product in it than the 120 metered sprays? The 60 says 0.34 oz. The 120 says 0.31 oz.

Could be a typo in the description where they mixed up regular flonase with sensimist. When I clicked on the sensimist link, the 60 metered spray was 0.20 oz and the 120 was 0.31. The regular 60 spray flonase is 0.34 oz.

Hi.. really need help. is this same as avamys fluticasone furoate (27.5mcg)?

I found 2 articles that might help: Flonase (fluticasone propionate) contains 50 mcg of medication per spray, while Veramyst (fluticasone furoate) contains 27.5 mcg per spray. The brand product Flonase is now discontinued, but generics and store brands are available. OTC Flonase Sensimist Allergy Relief (fluticasone furoate) is the same strength and medicine as prescription Veramyst, which is now also discontinued.
