It appears kind of dull at first, but rub it with your hands and wear it for a day or two and it starts to aquire a beautiful luster and shine that is more appealing than some of the really shiny plastic looking amber you get from China that is made of resin. This amber was a warm and soothing feel to it. I bought 3 bracelets so far and my favorite is the one that has light lemon, honey cognac and cherry in a gradation of colors. Amberage makes nice bracelets, and if it should break someday, get some .7mm stretchy cord and restring. I always put a drop of hypo cement on the knot and tie a few times. Every stretchy bracelet should be restrung yearly.

Lovely colour, good quality
Great quality amber, looks great, has the nice natural matte finish rather than shiny gloss look. Elastic seems to be holding up well as i take it on and off frequently.

Perfect for a certain look
I bought this for general wear as well as anti-inflammatory claims. I only got today , so cannot make comments on medical properties, but wanted to say that I was pleasantly surprised regarding its beauty! I love the cognac color. The color of strong iced tea. Much l like the photo. Not so "matte", but satin finish. Love the natural needs and inclusions. I loved so much, I just ordered the multi and honey bracelets. Plan to wear multi between the others. Now. Crossing my fingers for decrease in joint pain!!!
