Do I need to wash my hair first?

No you do not need to shampoo your hair before you color. When you do shampoo, we suggest trying our Elvive Color Vibrancy Nourishing Shampoo.

Will this work on highlighted hair?

This is not recommended for use on highlighted hair. Our Magic Root Cover Up is formulated to conceal grays in seconds for flawless roots at the part, hairline and temples

How much regrowth can Root Rescue cover?

Our recommendation is to use Root Rescue on 3 weeks or less of hair growth.

If I can’t use all of it in one time, can I reuse the rest of it next time?

Once this is mixed it is only effective for 15 minutes, and all the mixture can and should be used at one time. Any unused mixture is to be discarded!

Okay

I tried this product instead of Clairol, did have to use again less than 4 weeks. There is no smell to it and easy to put on.

Easy to Use

I was very nervous to use this the first time but it proved to be very easy to use. It covers gray well, and is very easy to blend with my natural color. For me it lasts well over a month.
