Churchill Blue Willow Pasta Bowl 9", Set Of 4, Made In England

Beautiful, fun dishes. Honestly, I wonder whether they're even trying to sell dishes, with those awful photos. In real life the color is vivid and the pattern is sharp. Very well glazed, and a solid feel. I ordered and received 2 sets of 4 x 10" dishes, 2 sets of 4 x 8" dishes, 1 set of 4 x 6" bowls and 1 set of 4 x 9" bowls. They all arrived from safely in Israel from Amazon.com.

While I meant to order the 8" salad place I accidentally placed the order for the bowls ( which I needed also) I had one bowl left but as we rarely use it I was going to wait to place this order. I'm so glad I made the mistake and ordered the bowls. They are a perfect match to the 1 Churchill bowl I had in my kitchen. We've already used them for numerous pasta dishes and they are perfect! Now I will go order the plates as I originally intended! Perfect product! So happy I now have a full collection!

Picture shows bottom of bowl previously requested. The blue color is not consistently deep and the design is not exactly the same as my other Churchill blue willow china pieces. Even with the issues with the bowls arriving broken the packaging was sadly flimsy. The size is very good so even with the above mentioned issues if u want this size buy this product.

These bowls are better than they appear on the site. I had my fingers crossed that they would be what I was looking for. They are perfect for soups, stews or pasta.I am completely satisfied with my order.

I love the size of these bowls ..I use my bowls for salad cuz i eat a big one usually with some protein in it. And blue Willow is my absolute favorite..the color texture quality is superb the price was outstanding.. I should have ordered another set of four and I might it's totally my favorite

Would definitely purchase again, they are deep and big bowls and are great for salads and pasta. I love them alot.

Before I purchased these Churchill Blue Willow bowls, I posted a question as to whether they had the Lion logo as well as “Churchill Made in Staffordshire England” on the bottom since there was no image posted of the bottom of these bowls. I received responses that they did have that logo/wording on the bottom. The bowls I received DID NOT! Instead, they had a “Crown” logo, with the words “Queen’s Made in England Earthenware”Although they were 9” bowls with the Blue Willow pattern, the proportions/perspectives were noticeably different than the Blue Willow “Lion” bowls I already have and thought I was getting 4 more with this order. I am going to see if I can find others that actually match before deciding to return these. I am not happy with them, but they may turn out to be better than nothing at all. I guess the unavailability of an image of the bottom should have tipped me off…
