Anti-Static Control Brush - High Grade

Works well for cleaning photo slides and negatives for scanning. Bristles are almost 2 inches wide, so it covers the width of 35mm negatives or a 2"x2" slide in a cardboard mount. Bristles are soft. I give the slide a blast of air, then quickly wipe both sides and the scans turn out free of dust particles. Very happy.

I have been processing and printing my own film for 50 years, and have NEVER had a brush that removes dust like this one. This brush is absolutely indispensable if you are dusting off film or lenses. Absolutely amazing!

I use this brush to help remove dust and tiny hairs from photo negatives before scanning them. Prior to getting this antistatic brush, I had to spend lots of time in photoshop just clonning out dust and hairs, but after using the brush to clean the negative and the glass on the scanner, 90% of the dust problems have been resolved!highly recommend this item.

Not sure exactly how it works but it does. I found it to work better than compressed air. I have used this product for many hours making high quality digital copies of photographs.

Hard to tell if this brush is really working. The task is to rid old 35mm slides from dust that just naturally accumulates. It's a good idea to remove dust before scanning to digital files so you don't have to spend time doing it electronically later. So, does this brush deliver on the promise of a static/dust free slide? Probably yes if you considered doing nothing. One thing that I can say is that it doesn't introduce dust or fibers from the brush itself, and that's something that can't be said about other brushes. So, I would recommend it to others prepping slides like I do.

I sell laminated products and need to remove all dust from the surface of my paper before laminating. This little brush works better than a microfiber cloth and compressed air. Highly recommended for this purpose.

Bought this to remove dust from a bunch of film strips and slides I was going to scan. Works well, and the fibers are supple enough that they don’t scratch the film. My only wish is that the brush came with some sort of plastic box in which to store it. Even if that would add a dollar or to to the price it would be worth it.
