Question 1

How much to get ride of dead deer smell?

Accepted Answer

It depends on if the dead deer is still there or not and how long it was decomposing. You can sprinkle directly on the deer or in the area once its removed. Assuming its about a 12 x 12 ft. area I would think 1-2 bottles should do the job after the deer is removed. I would suggest sprinkling everyday over several days instead of using the whole bottle all at once to get better results.

Question 2

Will it somve strong musty, mildewy odors under the kitchen sink?

Accepted Answer

For me, Smelleze removed the dreadful odor of a dead mouse in a wall.
My guess is that it would remove moldy odors, too.

Question 3

How would you use it to remove the odor of a dead mouse in a car ventilation system?

Accepted Answer

I would recommend using Smelleze® Reusable Dead Animal Smell Deodorizer Pouches to eliminate the odor invading your cabin. For a breath of fresh air, simply place Smelleze® pouches in your car and smell the difference! You can set the pouches in the front, back, and trunk areas on the seat or floor. You can use 1-3 pouches depending on the severity of the odor. This is an effective treatment for smells that are being constantly released over time due to decomposition since the Smelleze® pouches work continuously 24/7 to eliminate odors which otherwise would build up and continue to get worse over time.

The Smelleze® pouches can be rejuvenated by exposing to direct sunlight for a day or microwaving for 2-3 minutes and reused over and over until all the odors are eliminated. They are engineered to outlast the dead animal smell problem and can be used for years. So they will save you money since you won’t need to any buy additional pouches.

Secondly, you can also stick SmellRid™ Activated Carbon Smell Removal Pads on your air vents to filter any dead animal smells emitted from the ducts and those circulating in your cabin air. The 4 inch x 4 inch pads come with a convenient adhesive strip on the back so it’s very easy to simply stick them on your vents.

Question 4

How do you use this product if the smell of a dead mouse is in a wall?

Accepted Answer

I would recommend using Smelleze® Reusable Dead Animal Smell Deodorizer Pouches to eliminate the decaying odor from the walls. For a breath of fresh air, simply place Smelleze® pouches in all rooms or spaces with the bad odor. If you have a HVAC system, you may also place the Smelleze® pouches on your return air vents, and/or in front of the air return duct in your furnace to filter the odors out faster. Overall, use one pouch for every 150 square feet of area treated and smell the difference. You can use additional pouches for areas with severe odors.

Smelleze® Reusable Dead Animal Smell Deodorizer Pouches are designed to work even if you have not found and removed the carcass. Just place the pouches as close to the odor source as possible. Rejuvenate the pouches weekly and reuse until the odor is eliminated. If you have not found the animal, it may take 6 weeks or more for it to decompose completely depending on it’s size. However, since the Smelleze® pouches are designed to work for years, they will outlast the problem and you won’t need to buy any replacements.
