Worked perfect for the Chevy traverse
Guy at the garage installed them no problem. They needed to be synced and he had a little remote code reader that he walked around the car with. Took a minute to screw them in, and another minute to rescan them. When i put new tires on, I gave him these and he did not even charge me for putting these in. 2 minutes time was all. You hold your fob's lock and unlock at same time for like 8 seconds until horn beeps. Then he starts at driver front wheel and goes to driver rear, the passenger rear, then passenger front with this code machine thing and it senses the sensor and sets it to the position of the car, so you know what tire is low. As he scans in each tire, the horn beeps once, when he gets to last tire the horn beeps twice. Now I learned that my sensor was having issues because when they rotated my tires they DID NOT reset the sensors to the proper location! And so when my front left was low, i would check it and it was fine, but my rear right was low. I thought my sensors were bad, sheesh, the Walmart guy never re-scanned the sensors after rotating my tires! UGHHHH! LOL - But Now I know to ask if they re-scanned!

Up to date positive buying experience.
Purchased 4 of them for my 2010 Silverado. Product shipped and delivered within a couple days. No issues, showed up brand new in genuine Delco individual packages as they would from manufacturer. Installed with no issues. I did have one valve core that wasn’t quite tight enough and did need slight tightening. That’s a Delco issue though. Heads up to all buyers. I did need to buy a TPMS learn tool to get them to pair to my truck. I was not able to accomplish the typical air pressure let down procedure in the manual. Not one of them would pair using that method. I’ve done this procedure multiple times without any issues before. I do know GM eliminated this procedure sometime around the 2012 model year. So these may be updated sensors that require the learn tool. These are the same part number any auto store would sell. The tool is available on Amazon for $10. I wish I would have just bought the tool years ago, it made the whole process very easy and didn’t require more pressure adjustments. All in all a very good purchase. No different experience then if you bought them from a parts store. Except they were about a third of cost.

This Works
Those of you looking through the reviews listen up and I will tell you about this item. First of all, what you receive will not look like the item pictured. Do not worry about this. GM has updated this sensor and you will receive the newer version from the seller. It even states this somewhere on the package. The individual packages did have the AC Delco logo on them. I ordered 4 and had them installed when I replaced all the tires on a 2010 Silverado. My understanding is that this sensor will work for 2007 to 2013 GM truck models. When received I noticed the sensors had a different part number than the ones mentioned so I cross referenced with several national auto parts sellers and verified this was the correct updated version of the sensor but just at a much better price than what they offered. In fact it was a lot less. Here is the other bit of advice to make this easier, go ahead and order the GM series TPMS relearn tool model EL50448 unless you prefer to save the $12-$14 and do the manual reset where you have to let air out of the tires for the system to relearn the sensors. It literally took about a minute and a half for the system to relearn and shut off the warning light on the dash that I had been looking at for the past 6 months. . Just follow the instructions in the vehicle manual up to the point where it tells you to start letting air out of the tires and substitute that for the relearn tool. The tool comes with instructions on the process concerning which tire to start with etc.

DOA for my 2008 Silverado - Update
Seller has provided a full refund for this item which is all that can be expected since for whatever reason it did not work on my vehicle. Item looked good. In sealed Genuine AC Delco bag. Looked identical to the old one I was replacing which had stopped working. Compared both carefully before removing the old one. Installed the new one, re-seated my tire on the rim and aired it up then bolted wheel back on the right rear of my 2008 Silverado truck and proceeded with the learn/matching procedure. The other three tires would transmit and the horn beeped as before but the tire with this new sensor would never beep regardless of how much air I let out. This was the same problem I had before with the old sensor. I tried the procedure over and over 7 times . The other three wheels would register with a horn beep when I let out air but this new one would never register. I double checked before ordering this sensor and the order info stated that it was the correct sensor for my 2008 Chevy Silverado. It looks identical to the old one I removed but does not work. I don’t know if the battery in the sensor is dead, the unit is defective or if it’s the wrong one for my vehicle but after installing it in the wheel before finding that it does not work, obviously I cannot return it for replacement or refund. I still have my original problem with sensor not working in this tire but now I’m also out the cost of the “new” sensor and the labor of installing it

GM Original part at a non GM price
I rarely write reviews, but this time it's necessary. My 2008 GMC pickup caught a screwdriver which destroyed my tire back in January. Put the spare tire on and transferred the TMPS unit. Dash light came on; malfunctioning TMPS system. So, I followed the manual and had the truck "relearn" the sensors (did this FOUR times). Light was still on. Due to the snow and cold, I lived with it for awhile. Then I went to the GMC dealer who scanned the sensors and determined that the one transferred was not working. (I know that it was not damaged by the garage when installed, just it's time to give up I guess). Dealer wanted $125 for a new sensor installed. Auto parts stores wanted $55-$125 for the new sensor. So, after investigating and reading reviews, I bought this one and it was installed this morning. The "master" unit recognized it immediately & we did a relearn for the four wheel sensor units and the light went out (no special programming needed). I'm happy and the truck is happy. For less than 1/2 the cost of the sensor alone anyplace else, this unit is perfect. Highly recommend it if it fits your vehicle.

Don't seem to last
I have to also add a comment about the seller, Seismic. When I notified the company of the issues regarding these sensors on my truck, they didn't ask what they needed to do, they refunded the payment! This is something I was not expecting. These guys are great and I look forward to working with them again. I purchased 4 of these to replace the sensors on my truck. They were purchased on Dec 13 2021 and installed a couple months later when I purchased new tires. I contacted the seller about these items as I had questions and was assured they were not New Old Stock items and these were the correct sensors for my truck. These sensors typically last at least 10 years and the original sensors lasted 13 and 14 on my car. However, just over 1 year old, now it seems the batteries are going dead. Last week the two front sensors would not read and I got the message to service the system. The next morning only one sensor would not read. I rotated the tires to see if the problem followed the sensor that is not reading and cannot match the sensors to the truck. If they only last a year, they are not worth purchasing. I tried to contact the seller but cannot find how to do it as I wanted to ask if there was any warranty.

No need for scan tool on HHR
Replaced factory TPMS sensor on 2011 HHR. Did not need scan tool. I think this works on most GM cars. Here is how to do it. 1.) overinflated ALL your tires by maybe 10 psi. 2.) turn key to on position, don’t start car. 3.) make sure auto headlights/running lights are off. 4.) hold down both lock and unlock buttons on key fob. 5.) dash display will show TPMS learning mode. 6.) step outside car... ONE of your front marker lights or taillights will be lit... release air from the corresponding tire until horn honks. 7.) check and see which marker/taillight is now lit... go release air from that corresponding tire until horn beeps... 8.) repeat for remaining 2 wheels... horn will double beep after last tire and exit learning mode. 9.) adjust to the final pressure in your tires. 10.) that’s it!

GMC TPMS sensor change procedure
These TPMS sensors fit perfectly on my 2008 GMC Sierra 4x4 and wifes 2009 GMC Yukon XL. Only special tools required are a valve core remover tool to let the air out of the tires easily and a valve stem puller to install the new TPMS sensors. I'm an above average auto DIY guy so I decided to tackle this project myself after the Stealership quoted over $400 to replace the sensors. I took my tires off one at a time, used the valve core tool to quickly let the air out, then slid the tire under the bumper of my truck and used a bottle jack resting on the edge of the tire and pushing down against the bumper to push the tire off the rim bead. I then screwed the valve stem puller tool onto the defective TPMS and used a rubber mallet to drive the old sensor out of the rim hole. Once I carefully unscrewed the old sensor and removed it from the tire, I then installed the new TPMS sensor in the rim hole and used the valve stem puller to fully seat the new TPMS sensor. Then I used my air compressor to put air back in the tire, which set the tire back on the rim and aired the tire up to the proper PSI. After performing this on all four tires, I used the TPMS sync procedure outlined in the GMC manual to sync the truck computer to the new sensors. I have been riding on the newly installed sensors for several weeks now and I have no leaks and that pesky TPMS light is no longer on. Saved myself $300 too!!!! Don't be scared to do this yourself if you have common hand tools and are an automotive DIY person.
