I have been getting migraines for about 20 years, but I stopped tolerating NSAIDs like Advil & Aleve a long time ago (they have terrible effects on the stomach, intestines, liver and kidneys, and Tylenol is also hard on the liver and kidneys)…Most of the time, pain killers give me no relief from pain, but bad stomach discomfort. I started taking this product 2 months ago and found that it helps prevent migraines that are stress related, and when I have gotten migraines from eating trigger foods, it has reduced the pain intensity level from a 5-6/10 down to a 2/10, making it much easier to function. The trick is to keep taking it every day so it builds up in your system, vs. just taking it when you have pain. I haven’t noticed any negatives or side effects at all. As for flavor, it’s a capsule that you swallow, so I’ve never noticed any taste. I also prefer this formula to others that are PEA alone, since this one also contains luteolin (natural anti-inflammatory), magnesium (natural muscle relaxer) and white willow bark (natural pain reliever). Most highly recommended!

ZERO pain relief at all.

I've tried several products that claim to help with inflammation and muscular and joint discomfort with limited results. It was suggested I try the PEA blend from a friend. This product has all the markings of a quality product being GMP certified, non-gmo, and manufactured in the US. I did not experience any ill side effects when taking these. I did find my joints were moving more freely but my back pain remained. Since the pain was localized after taking this I do find that I received some benefit just not all that I had hoped. So from my experience, I give this an average rating. Not bad but not great either.

I chose this because it had PEA and Luteolin. Both are mast cell stabilizers. Luteolin is more effective than quercetin. After more research, I ended up using this as an anti-inflammatory with surprisingly good results. We eat a no added sugar & no grain diet,+ organic meats, and organic veggies. Try to do all the correct things and because of a few past injuries, I still have break thru pain on days. I severed my ties with NSAIDS and rely solely on supplements. This PEA has actually been a surprising find. Normally, I was using Vital Choice Curcumin or Biotics Kapparrest, but this PEA has worked on days when others failed. I am pretty impressed. Granted migraines are a different story but with minor to moderate pain and aches it seems to ease it all into the right direction. The major focus of PEA research, since the work of the Nobel laureate Levi-Montalcini in 1993, has been neuropathic pain states and mast cell related disorders. PEA also shows great promise toward anti-influenza activity and a decrease of pro-inflammatory cytokines. Overall this exceeded my expectations and I would recommend a try if you are like me and trying to veer away from gut killing Big Pharmas and opting for a more natural approach. UPDATE: I have actually been so surprised in what a dent this supplement has made in my pain and energy levels that I came back to get a backup bottle.

The product seems to be good quality. There were no unusual smells or tastes. Seems to be a good mix of the vitamins that I need. I have noticed that my joints have been a little less stiff. I still need to use the product for longer to know for sure that this is what the cause of some of my pain relief is.
