I’ve used this jump starter a half dozen times since I purchased it 3 years ago. I bought it because i Camp in remote areas and you never know when your battery needs a charge and you can’t depend on someone being around with jumper cables. This weekend I was camping with 2 friends. My friends car needed a jump and so did mine. So I was able to jump 2 different vehicles within an hour. This device holds enough charge for 4 or 5 jumps. Recharge is easy using a mini USB cable. You can even recharge it plugged into the same car you had to jump once the alternator charges up the car battery. This is a great product and you should keep one in your car along with a tire inflator wherever you travel (this charger is not also an inflater). This unit also has a USB A type port so you can use it to recharge any USB device.

FINAL UPDATE: I contacted Yaber about the item that I received that wasn't packaged correctly and was missing parts. They responded quickly and made it right. The packaging issues were most likely an Amazon issue and not anything to do with Yaber. Excellent customer service. And, as luck would have it, a car door was left ajar for a couple of days and the battery went dead. I used this jump starter again and it started the car without incident. If you have the money and you live in an auto-centric area like I do, you should really get one of these things. You can use it to start your car or you can use it as an emergency charger for your personal electronics in the event of a power outage. As I have said before, it's very likely that you will need to use this for yourself of someone else in the future. UPDATE: I bought another one of these to keep in our second car. Since the product was such a success previously, I decided that there wasn't any reason to look for a different vendor. I'm somewhat disappointed in the product I received today. It came in a plain Amazon box and was a bag that contained the battery and the clamp cables. No other box. No instructions. No USB charging cable. If I were giving this as a gift - which I have considered - I would be really disappointed. I'm hoping that the unit I received works correctly and isn't a refurbished return, but it could certainly be given the packaging. To my knowledge, nothing in the listing said that it was refurbished. ===================================================================== We didn't drive our Honda Odyssey van for a couple of weeks due to the holidays and cold weather and other stuff. I had bought this unit preemptively because of a battery issue several months prior. A good Samaritan helped us out at the airport with a portable battery starter and I decided that it would be a good thing to have around. I had an appointment in the afternoon and made sure that this unit was charged and ready to use. Sure enough, I got in the van and the battery didn't have enough charge to start it. I hooked up the YABER unit and started the car right away. This one lives in our other car and is permanently plugged into a switched 12v outlet so that it will stay charged all the time. I'm going to buy another one soon to keep in the van. I can guarantee that you will use this thing at some point - either for yourself, a neighbor, your kid or some stranger at the airport.

Good little charger for the price. Small and compact but delivers a big charge. I just don't like the charging port it's a old style so u can't loose it but overall decent product

I ordered this jump starter over 6 months ago and threw it in my glove box and forgot about it. Honestly, when I first opened the box for it I thought it was too small and lightweight to work but decided to keep it anyway. I figured I could use it as a battery bank for my cell phone if needed. Well, this morning as I'm about to head to work, I find my keys in the ignition of my minivan with it turned to the "run" position thanks to my 11 year old. The battery was completely dead. I was about to freak out when I remembered I had this jump starter. After pulling it out of the glove box I again thought there was no way it would work. There a very few times I enjoy being wrong and this was one of them. It took seconds to hook up, when I did I immediately heard my door chime. I turned the key and the van started right up without hesitation. I feel as though I already made my money back with this jump starter. I highly recommend it!!

My car is pretty much the car Adam Sandler sings about in, “Ode To My Car.” If it’s a slightly cold morning (in Cleveland 🙄), my battery ain’t starting my car. (Yet Autozone says it’s testing great 🤷🏻‍♀️- but undoubtedly, this is likely a problem going beyond the battery 😕) Since it arrived on November 1st, it’s started my car, saving me from being late to work, and other important places, 4 times, with no issues at all (and arrived on time!), and it’s ridiculously simple to use. You just plug the cables into the unit, connect to your battery, turn the key in the ignition, car starts, remove cables. I’ve used it to charge my devices as well, and it’s been great! I can’t attest toward the battery life of the device before needing to be recharged, because I plug it in every day at work (I’m NOT about to let this baby die!), but after being used to jump my car, it usually still has 3 lights lit up when I plug it in to begin recharging, so I’m assuming it is only using about 1/4 of it’s energy to jump a car battery. Charging devices doesn’t seem to impact it much. It’s an overall highly reliable device that hasn’t let me down yet, with pretty heavy use. I’d highly recommend to everyone, and I plan on picking up a few more as gifts for some loved ones for Christmas.

It would be 5 stars but the micro usb kills me. Overall its great i bought a total of 7 i have one in family and friends cars now. I used my first unit on my own vehicle, on my work vehicle, and just someone who needed helps vehicle. Hard to beat having something that will help not many people dont carry cables anymore and just as few are willing to help. Jumps easy, good life, charging horribly slow but thats why i said i dont like the micro usb. Good power but dont thibk youll be able to use it to limp home maybe a couple of yards, Its safe in the sense that you know what positive and negative are on your battery.
