Yoolax Hardwired Smart Sliding Panels, Custom Motorized Panel Track Blinds

I recently purchased electronic blinds that successfully connect to both an app and Alexa, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. The integration with the app and Alexa works seamlessly, allowing for convenient control of the blinds with just my voice or a few taps on my phone. Assembly was a bit complicated, and the instructions could definitely use some improvement to make the process smoother. However, once everything was set up, the performance has been outstanding. I did encounter an issue with the product dimensions initially, but the customer service was fantastic. They addressed my problem quickly and efficiently, ensuring a hassle-free experience. Thanks to their excellent support, everything is now working perfectly. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase and would totally recommend these electronic blinds to anyone looking for a modern and convenient solution for their home.

Love these blinds. Make sure and measure for accuracy. They were a little pricey but worth the money. Love the remote control, hung on the wall beside them.

DO NOT BUY!! The brackets and blinds were pretty easy to hang, although a couple of the tracks got stuck so the blinds did not open and close properly until we fixed the tracks. The major problem was the motor and remote! The instructions were awful!! We looked up You tube videos and Google Videos and after about 3-4 hours of attempting to sync the remote and motor the blinds are FINALLY opening and closing! Was disappointed that they were vinyl and not cloth blinds. Just seem cheap for the price. Very disappointed!!

The good and the bad. The product installation instructions are translated from very bad Chinese but this shouldn't deter you. If you have an inkling of tech skills, it won't be an issue. Follow your gut and most of all, my best advice is when actually getting ready to attach to your wall don't use the supplied tape to mark your drill holes to mount the blinds. Actually find the studs above your sliding glass door and mount screws into the studs. It's 100% more secure than the drywall anchors supplied. Find your own #8 2 1/2" drywall screws also. You'll thank me. There are no good videos to look at online to install this particular blind either. That's too bad for a $700 blind. It did hook up rather easy to my home wifi but know that it can only connect to 2.4 g wifi. Connecting to our home automated Amazon Alexa went pretty quick once I figured this out. Finally, if you have no tech skills to install this or don't have anyone handy to do it for you, this is NOT the product for you.

Let me start by saying I really love the product. The quality of the fabric is nice and it does exactly what they say it does. Quiet, simple movements that can be automated and overall, looks very nice - excellent! That said, there are two issues that prevent a 5-star rating. First, the instructions can be a bit challenging - especially when trying to identify the correct location of the panels in relation to each other. While the individual panels are numbered in pairs, you have to organize the track attachments in such a way as to ensure the motorized panel properly pulls the remaining panels. Lots of trial and error on this - better instructions would definitely assist. *** Suggestion for vendor - instead of numbering them 1/1, 2/2, 3/3, (per panel pair), etc... actually sticker the attachments in the proper order - 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, etc. Second, the way the track and panels are designed, there is light leakage from one end for a side mount. In hindsight, this makes sense as the track and panels are designed where one panel is closest to the wall and the others stagger outwards. I have a 4-panel design, side-mount, and there is approximately a 3" gap from the wall to the panel. While they do offer to add an additional 3" of fabric to counter this, that only equates to 1.5" to each side. For my downstairs living room, this is a non-issue as the ambient light spills directly onto another wall just a few inches away, but for my upstairs bedroom, because there is a floodlight out on the street and the doors are in the middle of the wall, a rectangle of light does spill thru. The solution to this would be more fabric than normal or a ceiling mount, but the latter wasn't an option for me, so just be mindful of this. If you have to side mount and bright outdoor lights, you may want to add more fabric to the purchase than they recommend to minimize the light even more.

When I first saw this on amazon I was very hesitant to order, but I figured I would give them a try. The product arrived in the time frame that they indicated and the instruction for installation were very easy to understand. I install the the sliding panels and it only took several hours (probably would have been quicker if I had followed their instructions perfectly). After a week we decided that would have preferred a different color panel, so I contacted Yoolax and explained that it wasn't their error but ours. They responded within a day and gave us a very fair price to exchange for a different color. The new panels and valance arrived with instructions on how to change them out. The end of my story is that we are extremely satisfied and will be ordering from Yoolax in the future and Highly Recommend Them - excellent service and the product works!!!

First, they are ingenious at packaging. Having said that, one of the very small attachment hinges for one of the sliding rails was broken right out of the box. It would likely take another month to get a replacement so I figured out a very effective fix with a wire tie. Proceeded with the installation based more on experience and ingenuity than the pathetic mostly pictorial instructions. The first time I cycled it using the remote, it jammed at the joint where the last 17" of header track joins together. (NO mention of that in the instructions AT ALL.) After a good bit of head scratching and some bute force to unjam it, it started to work pretty well. After spraying some dry luge in the tracks it worked even better. Then I went to install the valance. It is necessary to perform a 90 degree bend at each end of the track that the valance fabric, which is more than an inch too short, attaches to. If you don't have a big vice or a couple clamps, good luck making that bend. It's up, it works and we like it. Took nearly five hours all together!!!

I ordered this for an inside installation and it was made to my exact measurements. However, industry standards are deduction of 1/4" - 3/8" due to most inside mount applications being out of square. This headrail was not fitting due to that (it was for a sliding glass window) and I called to complain. The company verified the final measurement required and sent replacement headrail and panels within a week. They were very communicative and accommodating and in the end make a quality product they stand behind. Highly endorse!
