Woah!
My 11-year-old son is into world war ii. For Halloween this year I'm going to be Rosie the riveter and he's going to be a world war II soldier. We pulled out all the stops. I even got them an airsoft gun that looks just like a replica. I'm pretty sure he was a world war II and a past life. When his dad saw this helmet he couldn't believe it. The helmet is heavy and I don't know if an 11-year-old is going to wear it all Halloween evening but it's an adult size helmet. It's extremely high quality. Top tier. Every little detail that's advertised is on here. It's worth every penny. I'm pretty sure it's bulletproof!

Not exactly a toy
Bought this for my 9 year old. Is big on him but expected that. It is heavy duty and solid. Great price for a great helmet. If there was anything to complain about is the leather strap in the front. Still giving it a 5 star though because I was very pleased.

Better than I expected
It's the same exact dimensions and size as the real thing but about 8-10oz or so lighter. It's made of metal but obviously not the same strong metal as the real m1. The inner liner doesn't adjust much at all but the chin straps do. The net and band are basically the same thing as the real ones. The inside plastic liner is like a toy kid helmet but thick enough to be kinda durable. All in all it's not bad for the price and it arrived next day. As a decorative item or as a costume you can't beat this product. I painted mine to resemble captain millers from saving Private Ryan.

Nice metal helmet and the durability is strong and it has straps to adjust the size and the looks are pretty nice.

Does the job
I was gifted a set of Civil War Union and Confederate reproduction hats and later a WWI helmet. Wanted to round it off with this helmet. I'm a history teacher and love the look of these in my classroom showing students the evolution of not only uniforms, but of protection for soldiers from virtually ZERO to much better.
