Attractive yet practical, this wire egg collecting basket carries 6-18 chicken eggs, or more quail eggs, with no breakage on the bottom layer thanks to the slight flexibility of the wire mesh. Recently re-designed, the newer egg wire basket is stronger and slightly deeper than the older version, easily transporting eggs from coop to counter. The small egg basket is named for Liam, a little boy who likes to help gather the eggs from his family's backyard flock and package these baskets before shipment. While it's great as an egg collecting basket, its uses are endless -- this makes a fabulous home decor, organization, display and storage basket as well. This basket is also available in a larger size as the EggBaskets "Jack" basket.

Simple detail that makes a BIG difference!

This is exactly what I was looking for. At first glance I thought it was smaller than I anticipated, but once I put the eggs in I realized it was perfect. Pictured is about a dozen and a half eggs. This basket is just simple but elegant. If your into country or French farmhouse decor this is a simple detail that will make a big difference. It is lightweight, arrived exactly when predicted and was packaged with care.

Cute But Not Impressed

Cute basket but overpriced for sure. It was purchased for a farm theme to hold faux eggs. If it were for collecting real eggs it would be too small unless you just collect a few. I found similar basket in local dollar store.

Cute little basket, but extremely flimsy

I purchased this basket for when my chickens start laying eggs. It's just OK. It's extremely flimsy and judging it in person, I don't think it will be that great to hold a lot of eggs. Also smaller than I realized

Perfect!

I have a shelf between cabinets in the laundry room. I wanted to make it look a little nicer. I bought this basket to hold my fabric softener dryer sheets. I love it! So cute and works perfectly for what I wanted.
