This is a great self-defense item for those unfamiliar with handling this type of tools. Unlike pepper spray & other items, can be unpredictable but this innocuously sits on a keychain. For anyone who has a teenage daughter, the benefits of this item are self evident. Unlike other defense items that need to be maintained (ie battery being charged or affected by wind like pepper spray), this item is not likely to result in harming themselves or others unintentionally. This item offers other functions such as it can be used to break car glass in the event of an emergency. Just having this item on her keying gives my daughters more confidence possessing a means of defending themselves if circumstances call for it & if you don't walk like prey it can be a deterrent too.

not much i can really say about them but the basic are this they are very well made, got some weight behind them without being cumbersome. they do feel good in your hand and without a doubt get these for your wife and daughter. this in the hand will certainly be an advantage for you wifes safey

Pros: Great for Travel: Made it through TSA check, so I felt comfortable while traveling/flying. Lightweight construction: The POM plastic/Duron steel blend makes them easy to carry on a keychain without adding a lot of weight. Ergonomic grip: The T-handle shape fits comfortably in a standard palm for a secure, non-slip hold, but for average/larger-sized hands. Great value: Getting a 3-pack for under $8 is highly affordable for keeping spares in multiple bags, on various sets of keys, or in multiple vehicles. Cons: Size restriction: The finger grooves and handle layout are spaced widely and do not fit as comfortably or securely in my smaller-sized hands, though I could still use it and it would still hurt! Plastic finish: Because they are primarily made of lightweight POM polymer material, they do not have the heavy, premium feel of solid metal self-defense tools, but you can't fly with those in carry-on bags!!

When brass or steel is simply not an option, this little bad bay is a great equalizer. I’ve gone through security and metal detectors repeatedly and never once tripped an alarm or been held for search. I keep one in each pocket and throughout the car, my gear pack, and even on one of my keychains. Despite only protruding between two knuckles, this packs quite a punch. Buy a few and share with your family and friends. Excellent piece of mind, be ready for any and every scenario.

Thing hurts. I think it’s made out of steel disguised as plastic. Poke twice in the same spot and even a badger would take a time out. Stupid light and feels like its only weakness is friggin’ molten lava. Got one for all of my ladies. Good on whomever created such a fine family friendly accessory!

I've tried various other striking type keychain devices, such as little kubotan sticks. While those are kind of ok, what I like about this one, is it is easily concealable in the hand, plus I don't want to do the hammer fist strike. In addition, those kubotan sticks are kind of hard to hold onto compared to this. It feels pretty comfortable in one's hand. I'm a male with a relatively large hand size. The caveat though, is you need to know how to throw a decent punch. If you do, I'm thinking this thing would be rather devastating to be hit with. My confidence has definitely gone up some by carrying this.
