Will this fit easily under sports helmets, or is it too thick causing helmet to be too tight?

my son wants a ninja mask. Can the lettering logo (letters b.s.) be scraped off or can it be turned inside out without bad stitching showing?

The mask cannot be turned inside out because the Velcro attachment location. The logo is a sewn on patch with a rubberish texture. I'm not sure removing it would be easy but you could cover it with black electric tape and it probably wouldn't show or color it in with a black sharpie?

Yes, all the pieces are sewn together. The mouth piece or head piece can easily be pulled up or down and stays attached to each other and the neck part.
