Works as described
This device has boosted my microphone's gain by a few decibels, just enough that I don't have to max out the gain level on my audio interface.

Dead quiet. Nice price.
I gave it the ol' "How can I make it fail" test and it passed, no issues. Provide phantom power to the CM-1 and it comes alive to jive Clive 25... db that is, of clean, noise free gain for your ribbon and other low output dynamic mics. Nice price.
