There were no instructions on how to wire the three wires but using a multimeter it soon became apparent which two wires I needed, so that in the event of low water the pump would be disconnected from the power.As an emergency "stop" device it works just fine, but it is quite large for my small pond, and brightly coloured too, so no chance of disguising it!
