According to Behringer's website, it uses a 12AX7 vacuum tube. 12AX7 is a miniature dual-triode 6AV6 vacuum tube with high voltage gain. Should be able to find and replace easily.

How does it sound don't see me reviews on it?

It has clear sound, the only effects other than allowing for higher volume is warming up the sound. I'd recommend if you have a tenni mic with good clarity like the akg perception 120 or equivalent from audio Technica
