A 3-ring organizer for the entire family's vital medical data. This remarkably user-friendly organizer ensures that accurate medical records for every member of the family, especially children, are carefully filed and readily available. Parents simply must be proactive to prevent medical mixups of any kind -- including allergic reactions to misdiagnosed medications. Your Family Health Organizer has a separate section for each family member. Charts in each section allow all pertinent information to be logged, and color-coded tabs allow for quick reference. The 3-ring binder is just the right format for easy filing and accessibility, and it's small enough for portability. It's easy to transfer information, too. For example, the section for one child can easily be removed and left with a babysitter. The organizer provides space for recording all the family's medical information, including: Birth details Identification profiles, allowing for fingerprints of each person for security and safety Medications prescribed and any reactions to them Wellness checkups, immunizations, doctor's appointments Tracking information for each child's growth and other milestones Tracking information for baby teeth, dental appointments and results Dates and other details of hospital stays. This organizer accommodates two parents and as many as three children. Convenient plastic zippered pockets allow for filing of all insurance cards, appointment cards and other loose items. Review: I highly recommend this book! - As a first time mom, I was looking for something to keep me organized for all the well-baby visits. I found what I was looking for. There is a section for each parent and up to three kids (you can easily order more if needed). I love the pockets for storing the printouts the doctor gives you. There is a section for each visit for you to list exactly what happened and places to list questions. I find myself pulling this book out every so often between visits to log my questions. Then, when I visit the doctor, all my questions are in one place. Nice size and very durable. I could go on and on. LOVE IT! Review: I love this book I just wish it cane with more ... - I love this book I just wish it cane with more pages to input more appointments and more info for me and my husbands medical records as well but I love it it helps and it has a place to put all of your insurance cards in it my only real complain is its a hassle to get more pages for the book

I Love This Organizer
I consider myself a very organized person, but sometimes keeping track of all my kids medical info (dates, procedures, etc.) can get away from me. I love that I can just grab this organizer and take it with me to doctor appointments or when I need quick access to information. I also like that there are pockets to keep things like shot records in. I just wish it had more pages for entering some information, like how individual appointments went. I don't want to have to buy a package with 20 pages I don't need just to get the 5 pages I do.

Wish I had this when my first was born . . .
With my second child being born recently and the influx of papers and info you receive with all things medical, I was finding that I really needed to get myself organized. I read all kinds of reviews and ultimately settled on this family health organizer. It is GREAT! I wish I had gotten it sooner, but since my daughter is only 2, it wasn't terribly difficult to go back and recreate her medical info. It was kind of a pain though. It is a relief to have it all in one place. Now, I don't feel like I have to keep everything in my head. You always think you'll remember that question you had, or the date of your last shot until someone asks. Now it's all concise and easy to find. It also made my Kidsafety.Kit (from Buttoned Up) defunct since the same info that's in there is also included in the Family Health Organizer (fingerprints, recent photo, lock of hair, etc). Could not be more pleased! The fact that it's a 3 ring binder so you can add and take out pages as you need is an added bonus. I highly recommend this!

Small size not ideal for me
I have used this binder for a few years. Here are the pros and cons for me. Pros: It provides a place and format to keep and organize medical records. It's very helpful to have a designated place for medical records. Cons: Although the small size of the binder is good for travel purposes, that small size is a huge problem when most of the paperwork from the doctor's office is 8.5" x 11". There are too many papers to just fold them because it becomes too bulky, and it's harder to find paperwork when it's folded. In hindsight, I should have chosen a full size binder. Having medical information for the whole family in one place is actually inconvenient. When I bring one child to the doctor, I don't want or need to carry medical information for the entire family. Loose papers are not easily accommodated. The format does not lend well to organizing and tracking medical information for ongoing medical conditions.

Great Product
Great product. Easy to organize and keep information available at your fingertips. Highly recommended for household especially if you have elderly family members or small children.

Good contents - questionable binder quality
Great item for recording a family's Vital Statics. Appears all areas are appropriately covered and thorough. I would suggest "pockets", inside front and back covers OR clear plastic sleeves be added inside the binder for storing/adding loose items or documentation to support what has been recorded on the inside. ONE BIG DISAPPOINTMENT! This item is a THREE RING BINDER. The rings are plastic, TOO SMALL for the number of pages and they have poor quality SPRINGS thus allowing the rings to randomly pop open/separate and allow the pages to fall out. Because of the ring size, it's difficult to "flip" the pages without the rings springing open. VERY ANNOYING.

Organized family Record
This is perfect. Well organized and have all the information I need to know. It helps me keep organized for my newborn on his immunizations and what immunizations he will need to get along the road.

Meet my needs
I bought to record my family’s medical activities. I can record all the doctor appointments and prescriptions. I’d like to keep a record for my family members. This meets my needs.

Canadian publication
Good concept but written to suit Canadian child health. Terminology not uk nhs compatible. Perhaps someone should produce a uk edition

A very useful family resource.
I am very pleased with this purchase. It has bright, colourful tabs, making it easy to quickly find the family member's section you need. The charts are in a logical format, so you don't need to have a medical degree to use them. My favourite thing is that it includes Canadian information. (So many things are solely American, so that was wonderful to see). The sleeves in the back hold health cards and benefit information, so it really is all you need. I love that there are pages you can leave with health instructions for babysitters. However, it would be nice if there were more of them. The book is designed for a family of five. If you have any more than 3 children, you can purchase an additional section, but those seem to be pricey. Also, I imagine this would be less useful for families with ongoing and significant health issues. Overall, I recommend this for generally healthy families. I think it would be a wonderful and unique baby shower gift.
